When Catherine left to go to LA the following morning she was unaware that Lisa had thrown her note in the trash. When the men returned a few days later. Lisa told Vincent a woman named Catherine had come below while he was gone. She wanted to tell him goodbye. She needed to get away from New York. Vincent thanked Lisa for the message and went to his chamber. He was heart broken Catherine must haveregretted what happened between them and could not face him. His hopes of a life with her were shattered. He knew at that minute he could never love again. Catherine had captured his heart probably from the moment he met her and she would have it forever. Since Catherine was gone Lisa tried everything to get Vincent to make love her. She even snuck into his room naked one night. He was not interested. Catherine was gone a month now. She had written Vincent a letter as soon as she arrived in LA.. He never got it. Lisa intercepted it and threw it away. She wrote him two more times during that month and no reply. Lisa made sure he never got them either. Catherine finally gave up; she knew Vincent did not want a relationship with her. She was heart broken she loved him so. Back in New York Vincent wanted to know what was going on in Catherine's mind but their Bond was gone. He noticed it was leaving him the first time they made love. When one month lead into two.
