The Power of Love Part 31 (everyone) Devin began gathering their dishes saying he better go. He will send Rudolph with their lunch as Paracelsus asked him too. Since he seemed the most gullible Paracelsus knew with enough persuasion he would help them escape. Devin would return to get the dirty dishes to see how things went. As Devin leaned over Megan to gather her dishes he slipped a small book , no bigger than a credit card, beside her. She quickly hid it under her leg just as Devin moved. �Well I will be going.� � See you later lunch.� While Paracelsus shooed him off, Megan smiled.. �What on earth are you smiling at Megan.?� The smile quickly left. � Nothing father.� �You can be such a simpleton at times.� �Just don�t do it when the time comes�. � Under his breath he whispered incompetent woman.� They sat in silence for a few minutes than Megan said. �Father if you don�t need me for anything would you mind if I took a nap.?� �No.� �I don�t have time to talk to you anyway.� �I am too anxious for Rudolph to come.� �Than I�ll see you after my nap.� Lifting her feet off the floor, she laid down with her back to her father. She quietly pulled out the book Devin left her. Reading the title, �Sonnets by Shakespeare.� Upon opening the cover, Megan noticed a message inside. Megan � This book gave me comfort when I needed it.� � I Hope it can do the same for you. " �D� As Megan read the inscription, a single tear fell from her eye. Clutching the book to her chest a moment, she whispered I will cherish it Devin.� A moment later she began to read..
