And in a hidden corner of the cave under the cover of darkness the lovers quietly waited. Though they prepared to confort their enemies Catherine knew Vincent was still not fully recovered and she silently prayed they would not find them. Unfortunately it was not to be so. As the two men entered the darkened cavern, "Vincent whispered in her ear take this handing her a large rock and stay here." Before she could respond , he was gone. As she rasied her arms up holding the rock reading herself for anything. She heard two thumping noises and a few minutes later she was enclosed in light. "Catherine, are you all right?" She put down her rock and ran to Vincent's side. "Vincent thank god you are allright, I was so scared." "What happened?" "Where are they?" "Over there my love and he moved the flashlight to the far end of the cavern. The two men lay spraddled one on top of the other out cold. "Vincent how did you do that so quickly?" "You are still recovering." "I was afraid you could not take them on alone." "And you were ready to help me my sweet Catherine", looking at the rock she had now laying on the ground. "Yes I was." "Vincent are they?" "No Catherine they are not ." "I decided to spare them." "A few times I heard them talking, they were actually frightened of Paracelus wrath if they did not do his bidding." "Besides they may be able to hlewp us locate our family and friends." "We will need some rope to tie them up." "Did you bring any with you? "Yes I have some in my bag." " I also have tape." She saw him smile. "I used to be a girlscout when I was little and a pretty good one too." His smiled broaden a moment already knowing she had been. "Can you go get it I will stay here with them?"
