"You better not." "Now Devin please take her to get washed up, it's beginning to smell in here." After gasping at his rude remark Megan said "father that was cruel." "Oh stop whining and go." "I need some time alone to plan my future here. "Come Megan let us go said Devin . When they were outside the cave Megan went to lift her arm to see it what her dad said was true but Devin stopped her. Placing is face against her neck, he enhaled her scent a moment and whispered in her ear. "You smell wonderful." For the first time in over 20 some odds years Megan found herself blushing. Devin noticed it immediately. "Megan your blushing, it's very becoming." Lowering her head, she thanked him. Gently taking her hand within his surprised her again. When she looked up at him, he said he wanted to show her something. Seeing the hestitant look in her eyes he said, trust me?" "She said yes. Than come and they headed toward the opposite direction of the usual bathing chmaber. Where are you taking me Devin?" "It's a surprise." "I know you have been here for a few years but I am certain there are places you have never seen." I want to show one of them to you." "Ok than lead the way and Megan gave Devin her most genuine smile in years. Shortly before they reached thier destination Devin asked her to close her eyes. She hestitated again. "You said you trusted me right?. Smiling again she closed her eyes. As they were walking Megan could hear the sound of running water. When they stopped and Devin told her to open here eyes. All Megan could do was stare at the most beautiful sight she has ever seen. "OH my goodness Devin what is this?" "This is called the Chamber of Falls." "Devin it's beautiful." As she took in the site before her. How can something like this exist below?" "Noone has ever been able to explain it." "But it is one of the most wonderous places below." "I can see why." "You can wash up here if you like." "I know you are probably tried of washing up in the bathing pool. "OH Devin I would love too. Thank you for bringing me here." "Megan you are a pretty woman and you deserve better. Wait here a moment. After Devin left Megan looked around in awe. Silently thanking Devin for being so considerate. When he returned with fresh towels, soap and shampoo Megan was estastic. "You're kidding me noticing the soap looked different than the other soap she had been using, placing it to her nose, Devin she exclaimed it smells like roses." "So does the shampoo Devin replied." She smelled that next." Oh my gosh it does." "I haven't had luxuries like this for over three years." "Well now you do said Devin." Here handing her the towel and wash cloth. Enjoy. "I'll be waiting outside for you.". As Devin started to leave Megan stopped him. "Devin." "Yes Megan and he turned toward her." "Thank you." "Smiling at her, you are welcome." "Now you better get started we don't want to be gone too long." Your dad will have a fit." "No that's an understatement." "Thanks again." Devin smiled a moment than left the falls. As Devin was waiting outside the cavern, he was lost in thought. Things are going along better than he planned. Pretty soon Megan will be eating out of my hands.
