The Power Of Love Part 22 (everyone) At 6 am Pascal sent the emergency message over the pipes as father instructed. Shortly after they made the codes they developed a buddy system.. Each tunnel member had a buddy they were to find in case of an emergency and then proceed to the grand hall. They had even had drills to test their new system. It usually took about 15 minutes for all to assemble. After waiting the allotted time, father clicked his glass to quite the crowd. "Now everyone before we go any futher let me announce that there is no emergency." The crown groaned having been awaken so early and there was no emergency. Cullen was the first to speak up. "Father what is the meaning of this?" "That code is for emergency use only." "Under normal circumstances it is but we had to use it today to get everyone here before the day began." "So why are we here father asked Jamie? Vincent chose to speak next. "Catherine and I suggested this meeting before a situation got out of hand." Touching Vincent's hand to stop him, Catherine asked if she could speak. After Vincent nodded his head in understanding Catherine proceeded. "There is a problem that is happening among some of the men Below ." "Although I did not cause the problem I am the reason for it." "How could you be the cause of a problem here Catherine asked Jamie." "If it was not for you our family would not be back together." Father raised his hand than. "Please hold any questions you may have until Catherine has finished." "Thank you father, said Catherine." "Parcelus is trying to tear our family apart and is using me to do it." "Somehow he found out that there are some men Below who have more than brotherly feelings for me." The crowd was not surprised by this revelation as Catherine is a beautiful woman." "What he is trying to do is use those feelings to turn those men against each other and Vincent." "He wants to cause friction, envy, anger and jealously among our family hoping father would loose control over the community." Vincent spoke next. "In his sick mind he wants revenge by having Catherine the woman who brought us together to be the same woman who tears us apart." "Since Paracelus does not know our emergency code, which is the reason why we used it this morning, he has no idea that we are on to him." "I think we should go along with him."
