The Power of Love Part 18 (everyone) As Catherine and Vincent headed for the falls Rudolph returned to the chamber with Paracelus and Megan's dinner. "Here I brought your food and Rudolph handed them their plates and drinks. "It's about time."We were straving here," Paracelus sarcastically stated. "You are lucky I came at all." "You can't be serious Kanin is married to Olivia and they have two children." "Wait a minute said Rudolph as he remembered something." "Thank you for the information Paracelus." "Either I or someone else will come back for your plates." With that statement Rudolph stormed out of the chamber. After he was gone, Megan looked at her father. Feeling her eyes upon him, he said "what?" "Dad that was terrible, you know doggone well you never spoke to Kanin." "Well we know that but that idiot Rudolph doesn't." "I wish I could be there to see the confrontation," and Paracelus' laughter was heard throughout the chamber." In the meantime Catherine and Vincent arrived at the falls. "You know my love, I have been meaning to tell you all evening how dashingly handsome and sexy you look tonight and she lightly caressed his rear end." "You should wear leather pants more often as she slowly slide her hand toward the front of his pants. Smiling at her, he gently took her hand and stopped her pursuit. "Catherine if you keep doing this I will never have a chance to talk to you." "Taking her hand he lead her to a nearby rock. He sat down and placed her gently on his lap. As he looked into the crystal clear water of the falls a moment Catherine could see the worried look on his face. Gently caressing his cheek, she turned his head to face her. "What has you so worried my love that we must talk?" Covering her smaller hand with his larger one, he looked into her lovely gray green eyes, "Catherine are you happy living here?" Knowing this was a serious subject with him, she approached it with care. "Of course I am happy her my love." "Vincent you are my life and your world is my world." "I don't want picnics in Central park when I can have picnics here at the falls with you and our children." "I don't need to go to concert halls above with thousands of people when we have our own special place Below." "I was born into society it was not a choice I made." "It was what was expected of me." "The life I was living above was not what I wanted." "It was what I had to do."
