You're still shaking. Vincent I am trying to be strong but she is actually frightening me. I can feel it Catherine. Vincent you should have seen her face. Diana said she would be back to claim you. I cannot lose you. I can't and she began to cry. Kissing her lips you could never lose me Catherine never. Sweetheart you've had a stressful day come (lifting her in his arms, let's go to our chamber. I would like that and rested her head against him. Arriving at the chamber he laid her upon the bed. Love, why don't you get ready for bed I'll go get the baby and we will spend the rest of the evening together. That would be nice. Catherine pulled out Vincent's favorite tunnel dress (the one she wore when he cared for her) softly rubbing the dress everything will be fine and she went to the falls to wash up and change. She was putting her dirty clothes in the hamper when Vincent returned with baby Jacob. Here we go son mom�s here and he gave her their son with a kiss on the lips. So, taking the book she carried, you decided on Sonnets by Shakespeare. Yes. Lifting her in his arms he carried them to their bed . Laying down the book, he settled them confortably in is arms and began to read while Catherine fed Jacob his bottle. By the time he finished the third sonnet , he noticed they had fallen asleep, Closing the book, he carefully laid them on the bed as not to wake them. Giving them both a kiss, he left the chamber to see about dinner. Meanwhile at Diana's loft. I have to set up a new plan of action. I know I cannot get Vincent in bed but is there a way to do it without him knowing? Think Diana think. I got it and she picked up the phone. Two weeks later Vincent and a few of the tunnel men had to go away for a week to repair a tunnel. He didn't want to leave Catherine but she assured him she was fine. Diana has not shown her face in the tunnels since the day she left. Vincent and Catherine spent most of their last night together loving each other to make there separation a little easier. Both knew they would miss each other terribly. The next morning Vincent kissed Catherine and his son goodbye. I'll be back in six days. I love you Catherine with all my heart. I love you and I miss you already. The morning after Vincent left Catherine experienced a bout of nausea until mid morning. The following day it was the same. She sent a message to Peter via a helper asking to see him. At 8:00 that evening she and Jacob left the tunnels . Father told her to be careful. She said they will be safe with Peter and will return tomorrow night. Not known to Catherine was the lone figure lurking in the trees at the tunnel exit. Good she left now I can continue with my plan thanks to Bernie I will get my man. Catherine arrived at Peter's around 8:30. Welcome my dear giving her a fatherly hug. How are you and the little one there? Jacob is just fine but I�m a little under the weather. I see. So come lay down your bag and remove your coats and take a seat. I�ll send word to Father that you have arrived safely. I�ll be back within fifteen minutes. Get comfortable while I�m gone. We will Peter and take your time. About twenty minutes later Peter returned. Can I get you anything? No we are fine. So tell me dear what�s seems to be the problem. Well the past two mornings I woke up dizzy and nauseated. Vincent will be so happy. They spent the rest of the evening talking about when Peter and her dad were young and eating Chinese food. They spent the next day at Peter�s house and headed Below around 7 PM. I heard Vincent and the men were due back today instead of Friday. They finished a couple of days earlier. Looking around the chamber until she found a note from Catherine. Let�s see if I practice enough I can pull this off. Looking at the writing on both pieces of paper perfect. Now step 2. Going into her purse she pulled out a prescription bottle and took the chilled bottle of wine out the cold pouch in her backpack. Than she heard the message on the pipes. The men had returned. Now for step 3. When she doesn�t meet him he will come here and see the note: Dearest Vincent. Welcome Home. I have missed you. I left this glass of wine for you. Enjoy it until I return from the Falls. Wait here for me I have a surprise for you. Love Catherine. Vincent and the men returned anxious to be with their families. Father where is Catherine? She went above to see Peter she will be back this evening. Why not go to your chamber and wait for her. I will Father see you later. Vincent arrived at the chamber and saw the note. Reading it he smiled and drank the wine as she asked. In the shadows this is working when within ten minutes Vincent passed out on the bed. Perfect and she began to remove his clothes, Then she removed her own and climbed into bed next to him. When Catherine comes back she will see us in bed together and leave. Snuggling closer to him she began to caress his body magnificent. Vincent stirred a little pulling her closer oh Catherine. And she began to kiss him. He began to get aroused. Yes Vincent that�s it. Catherine I need you and he went to kiss her back and stopped. Diana ,Vincent said moving away and they heard VINCENT screamed from the chamber entrance. Startling both of them. Slightly growling Vincent jumped out the bed in his underwear. Seeing Catherine, Diana said, you're too late Catherine. Vincent and I already made love with no protection. Slowly losing his control Vincent said Catherine I swear I did not touch her I knew it wasn't you. It�s OK Vincent I didn't think anything happened. Oh Catherine my love , said Vincent, and she ran into his arms. "What do you do to him Diana" said Catherine when she noticed the half glass of wine. You drugged him didn�t you? Well Cathy I must say Esctacy is a miracle worker. Diane are you crazy you do not know what that drug could have done to him? It could have killed him. But it almost got him to make love to me as I planned. Father had heard Catherine�s scream and arrived at the chamber. What�s going on here asked Father seeing Diana in bed and Vincent in his underwear. Catherine said, father Diana drugged Vincent to get him to sleep with her but he realized it in time nothing happened. Thank goodness said father. By this time all three of them were very angry and Catherine was getting worried about Vincent when she saw his darkside begin to emerge. Father what is happening to him asked Catherine?
