After everyone had voted, Mrs. Keri Cellini announced the winner of our first election. We were amazed to here that David and Barbie had won by one vote!!
We look forward to doing this again!

| Since this year is an election year for our country, the home school group held it's own mock election! 2 of our older boys were picked, by the leaders of the group, to run as "president". They both had a vice-president, a presidential advisor (one of the moms), and a team of 5 others to help with advertising, writing, etc.. The presidential nominees were David Durn and Taylor Cellini, and their vice-presidents were Barbie Gardner and Victoria Brame. The election was held on October 29th at 10:30am. The teams were in a flurry setting up their tables and trying to get people to vote for them by passing out candy and flyers! After everyone had voted, Mrs. Keri Cellini announced the winner of our first election. We were amazed to here that David and Barbie had won by one vote!! We look forward to doing this again! |
