The news everyone has been waiting for was finally revealed this week at the annual KFS owners breakfast, held in the conference room at the Days Inn in sunny Bayonne, New Jersey. It was announced by franchise owner Jeff Stanley that the former New Haven Ghetto Thugs had moved to Palm Beach, Florida where they would now lose games as the Palm Beach Colossal Squid. Stanley also announced two new fan-generating features that the Colossal Squid will highlight this season. Along with hosting the worst football team in south Florida since Ray Finkle played for the Dolphins, the Squid's home field will also feature Tiki Barber's Tiki Bar Bar, where fans can wet their whistle before, during and after games. The Squid will also be the first ALF team to feature cheerleaders. The Squidets will generate fan enthusiasm at home games by demonstrating their colossal assets, doing silly little backflips, and shooting fans with CO2-propelled t-shirts. Stanley suggested that any fans interested in finding out more about the Colossal Squid should visit their web site at: http://www.geocities.com/ffej979/kfs/football.html
