What does the Tiger Army do for an encore in week 4? That's the question facing Coach Adler, as his L.A. squad looks to build on their record-setting performance from last week, this time against the scrappy Pylons of New Haven. Despite the continued suckage of Armando Benitez and Roberto Alomar, the Tiger Army is dangerous as ever, thanks to the sweet swing of AL RBI leader Erubiel Durazo and the refusal of graybeards Jeff Bagwell and Bret Boone to succumb to Father Time. That, and Scott Rolen leads all 3Bs in scoring, even Ty Wiggington. Ty is just one of Coach Stanley's gritty, gutty crew of blue collar ballplayers keeping New Haven in every series. A number of close losses have left New Haven in a tie for last, but the points are there; less than a hundred separates them from league-leading Marshall St. As the Big Unit continues his slow recovery and lack of scissors and a mirror, the T-Cones bullpen continues to step up. John Smoltz returns this week, joined by "probably a Hispanic name" award winner Jorge Julio.
