Interview # 2
Hey Bulldog Fans! I'm, back again with another interview! This time, I
talked to Steven Korte (12), who plays running back on our team.
Kristen Carrier: What made you become interested in football?
Steven Korte: "My dad played for the Saints as a center. He was what got
me interested."
KC: When did you start playing?
SK: "I started playing when I was ten. Since then I've been a running
back, a linebacker, a free safety, a fullback, a defensive end, and a wing
back."
KC: What would you say was the most memorable moment this season for both
you and your teammates?
SK: "Memorable moments, I'll have to think about that one…It was 3rd and
26, we were playing Hammond, and there was 1:27 left in the game. Blake
(Fritscher) threw a simple toss to me, and I took it 47 yards for a
touchdown to beat Hammond 17-13."
KC: What were some of the challenges you faced?
SK: "Freshman year, fighting for a starting position, which I ended up
getting."
KC: What are some of the funniest memories that you can recall?
SK: "Me and Blake goofing off behind Coach Favre's back…throwing balls at
each other when we weren't looking, filling helmets up with mud…"
KC: Did you choose your jersey number? If so, was there a special reason
for your choice?
SK: "It was given to me when I was ten, and I had a good year, so I kept
it."
KC: What were some of the team's greatest victories in your opinion?
SK: "Beating Hammond, Mandeville, Covington…."
KC: What do you do for fun when you're not playing football?
SK: "Chill with my boys, and hang with the ladies."
KC: Well, thanks, Steven. I really appreciate it.
Well, that's it for now! Keep checking back. I'm looking into getting
another one very soon!
Thanks again Steven!
