Interview # 1
Hey Bulldog Fans! I've got your first interview right here! For this one I
talked to Justin Beitzel (44), who plays linebacker, running back, and
punter on our team.
Kristen Carrier: What made you become interested in football?
Justin Beitzel: Just watching it on TV on the weekends.
KC: When did you start playing?
JB: 8th Grade
KC: Do you have a favorite play?
JB: Yeah, "Double Fire." It's a blitz.
KC: That sounds cool! Do you have a favorite coach?
JB: Coach Herd. (Herdliska)
KC: Ok, now the fun part. What would you say was the most memorable moment
for both you and your teammates?
JB: Us at Hahnville on defense, stopping them in the 4th quarter, on 4th
down, on their 1 yard line.
KC: I remember that. That was incredible. What were some of the challenges
you faced as an individual?
JB: Learning a new position and punting.
KC: You could never tell that it was difficult for you to learn. When
you're on the field it looks like you've been doing it all your life.
You're great.
JB: Thanks.
KC: You're welcome. What are some of the funniest memories you can recall?
JB: Rudy making fun of Cook. (Chris)
KC: Yeah, those two are pretty funny, from what I've seen in the halls.
Who if anyone, would you say was the MVP this season?
JB: Steve, hands down. (Steven Korte)
KC: Well, thanks, Justin. I appreciate it. I guess I'll see you soon.
JB: Talk to you later.
Well, guys, that's it for now. I should have another one soon! Thanks,
Justin!
