Pyros go off and show what the American Airlines
Center in Dallas, Texas looks like at night. The scene switches to inside where
on the main stage Saliva performs "CLICK CLICK BOOM" live. Once they are done
the camera pans around the crowd showing various signs from fans showing their
favorite fighters and wrestlers support. Some signs are even for the announcers,
General Manager Chet Dunegan and Jillian Devane. The camera pans to ring side
where the announcers are sitting. Draven is wearing a plain ordinary polo shirt
that is black and has the UFA logo on it. Jake wears his typical leather jacket
and is checking out the women in the audience. As soon as Draven starts
talking, Jake looks towards the camera and starts to pay attention.
Draven Holmes:
Welcome to
HEATWAVE! We have two battle royal matches planned for you folks. We have seven
women getting in one ring for number one contendership to the UFA Womens Title.
Jake Marsters: Oh yeah. Angel, Crypt, Faith, Joanna, Kellie, Kiara and Poe will
all perform in the ring for ME! The other battle royal has been renamed the Hot
Box. Inside is ten men all competing for the UFA Mens Championship Title.
Draven Holmes: Adrian and Dominiq Torretto get in the same ring with Damien
Rage, Joseph Thunderhawk, Redeemer, Alastor, Jack, The Legacy Dillon Durst, Big
D and Dominic. That match will be one to definitely watch. Our main event match
is for the UFA World Title.
Jake Marsters: That is right folks, Baatezu defends his title against The Raven.
While Baatezu's enemy faces off with The Texas Outlaws. The Vampyre Lestat and
Phoenix represent The Sykness in hopes to go on the next PPV to face The
Coalition for the UFA Tag Team Titles...
Draven Holmes: However, right now there is something happening back stage.
The scene fades backstage where it shows Crypt walking down the hall. Baatezu
comes up behind her and spins her around.
Baatezu: Hey you got my back out there in that title
match?
Crypt smirks and looks at Baatezu.
Crypt: Your the champ. Can't you handle it on your own?
Baatezu smirks.
Baatezu: Oh come on. You know I'd come back you up on
yours. We both know you can't win that on your own.
Crypt smirks. Crypt then rears back a hand and slaps
Baatezu hard across the face. Baatezu grabs her hand and stares her down.
Baatezu: You know the only thing that stands
between Alastor and you... Is me.
Baatezu then smiles and walks away As Crypt watches his with her arms
crossed, looking very pissed off.
Jake Marsters: Wow! Crypt grew a pair. She better watch herself!
Draven Holmes: Baatezu had no right to say what he did. He just threatened her.
Jake Marsters: Meh... Our first match is a Triple Threat match between The New
Generation Bryant Xavier, City Boy and Soul Hunter.
Bryant Xavier vs. City Boy vs. Soul Hunter
Ryan Marx:
This First match is scheduled for ONE FALL!
Ryan Marx: Making his way to the ring standing
at 6 foot 1 inches and weighing in at 221 pounds. Hailing from Norwood, Ontario,
Canada... THE NEW GENERATION... BRYANT XAVIER!
The Lights go out as the crowd begins to buzz, suddenly the familiar 5 cord
introduction to "Feel The Night". Two Blue Spotlights focus in on "The New
Generation" Bryant Xavier as he steps onto the stage wearing black latex
wrestling shorts with matching vest and knee pads. He steps down the ramp and
rolls in the ring, and springs up, he steps over to the middle of the ropes and
jumps on the 2nd rope and sticks his arms out as the lights come up he drops
down to the ring and paces around a little.
Ryan Marx: On Making his way to the ring of the ring standing at 6 foot 2 inches
in height and weighing in at 210 pounds hailing from Stardust, New Jersey...
City Boy!
In the City by Joe Walsh kicks up. He comes from the back and walks
down to the ramp to the ring and he gets onto the apron and waits for the referee to hold the ropes open for him, but he then jumps over the ropes and waits in the ring.
Ryan Marx: Making his way to the ring standing at 6 foot 6
inches in height and weighing in at 275 pounds... SOUL HUNTER!
Beginning of the End by Spineshank begins playing, as fire erupts from the
stage. The flames swirl around, causing a flaming tornado. From within the
fire, a shadow can be seen. Suddenly, a dark figure emerges from within the
flames. He steps out of the fire, and onto the stage. He looks out into the
crowd, and starts towards the ring. The side of the ramp begins to burn, as a
small path of fire is created leading to the ring. He slides into the ring, and
stands up. He pulls his thumb across his throat, in the motion for his Judgment
taunt. As he finishes, the flames erupt once more, then quickly die down.
Draven Holmes:
A triple threat match. This is great Jake. It's been a while
since we've seen one of these.
Jake Marsters: Naw, I seen
better.
Bryant, Soul Hunter and City Boy all stand in the ring while the ref instructs
them on how they should conduct themselves. He starts to send them to their
corners as Soul Hunter goes running at City Boy. He cloths lines City Boy over
the rope and onto the floor. Bryant starts arguing with ref about wanting to
start the match up. As Bryant turns the ref around he see's Soul Hunter coming
at him. The ref not seeing City Boy signals for the match to start. Bryant and
Soul Hunter lock up as City Boy starts getting up slowly. Bryant goes to a knee
and scope slams Soul Hunter twice before Soul Hunter steps back and wonders
what's going on there. Bryant grins and coaxes Soul Hunter at him. Soul Hunter
feeling the power of something special goes right at Bryant. Bryant snags Soul
Hunter's arm and jerks him towards him. City Boy gets up and climbs the far ring
post. Soul Hunter stands his ground and reverses the pull. As Bryant gets jerked
instead, Soul Hunter grabs him by the waist and belly to belly suplexes over his
head. Soul Hunter goes with a couple of forearms to the heart of Bryant. Goes
for the cover and gets interrupted by City Boy dropping a leg over the both of
them. City Boy goes back to his corner and starts to laugh.
Draven Holmes: This one big free
for all. Anybody can pin anybody here. And I don't think City Boy wanted Soul
Hunter to win.
Jake Marsters: Your right
Draven. It should have been Bryant who pinned Soul Hunter. Maybe I want City Boy
to win. But I don't want Soul Hunter to win. I'm no saint but Not him.
Bryant goes at Soul Hunter with a clothesline. Soul Hunter ducks the clothesline
and turns around. Bryant stops him momentum and catches a big boot to his face.
This nocks Bryant to City Boy corner. Soul Hunter goes to the corner and starts
choking Bryant. The ref gets into his face and pushes him away from the corner.
City Boy seizing the opportunity slaps the chest of Bryant signaling like a tag
in. Bryant opens his mouth in pain as City Boy jets into the ring. As the ref
steps out of the way City Boy spears Soul Hunter to the Mat. City Boy gets Soul
Hunter up and shoves him into a corner. He backs up towards Bryant Corner and
takes a swing. Bryant ducks and smacks the chest City Boy. The ref calls that a
tag and lets Bryant back in. Bryant hits City Boy to the stomach and gets in.
Soul Hunter sees the two standing there and roars forward. He body splashes the
both of them into the corner. The two fall side by side down into the corner.
The crowd comes alive as Soul Hunter looks around.
Draven Holmes: That was sick
Jake. How can he do that them? Oh, that was just to sick for words. Why did you
do that Soul Hunter? Why?
Jake Marsters: *Laughing* Do it
again. That was so funny Draven. Did you see the look on their faces when they
saw the butt? Oh can we put that back in slow motion guys? Can we get you to
play that again?
Soul Hunter waits while Bryant gets back to his feet. Bryant gets mad and rushes
Soul Hunter. Bryant manages to hook his arms around his legs and drops him to
the mat. A fury of hits by Bryant leaves Soul Hunter a little dazed. City Boy
starts getting up and heads for a ring post. Bryant gets up and drags Soul
Hunter into a corner. Bryant backs to the opposite corner. Soul Hunter shakes
off the dizziness and see's Bryant in the corner. They both charge each other. A
double clothesline leave's both men in the middle of the ring. Bryant manages to
put a arm over Soul Hunter. The ref drops and goes for the count. City Boy comes
off the rope and leg drops Bryant. The ref stops the count and gets City Boy out
of the ring. Soul Hunter and Bryant get back up and start trading hits. Soul
Hunter leans into Bryant and spins Bryant into the far rope. Bryant out of
balance falls over the ropes and starts to hang there. Soul Hunter runs up and
clotheslines Bryant out of the ring. Soul Hunter sets his sights on City Boy who
is eager to get in. Soul Hunter follows Bryant out of ring and picks him up by
the hair. Soul Hunter walks him to the side of the ring post and slams him into
the pole. Bryant hits the pole and falls backward down to the ground. Soul
Hunter picks him back up and tosses him back into the ring. Soul Hunter follows
under the rope and grabs Bryant by the hair again. He tosses Bryant towards the
corner and taunts City Boy to make the tag and get in. City Boy hits Bryant hand
and gets in. The two go at each other and lock up. City Boy manages to stomp on
the foot of Soul Hunter thus gaining the advantage. City Boy Locks the head of
Soul Hunter and starts to torque it. Bryant stands there trying to shake off the
pole shot. Soul Hunter starts to wear down before he gets into position to
deliver elbow shots to City Boy. After 3 good elbow shots he breaks free and
goes to the ropes. He bounces off and springs force. City Boy manages to catch
Soul Hunter in mid air and reverses the force and slams Soul Hunter into the
mat. City Boy goes for the cover. Ref gets into position. Bryant pulls the ref
out of the ring and stops the count.
Draven Holmes: City Boy could
have got the win right there Jake. I guess Bryant didn't want City Boy to win
either.
Jake Marsters: Boo! Total
disrespect for the ref. He should have been disqualified.
City Boy getting mad starts a argument with Bryant. Bryant back hands City Boy.
City Boy starts throw back a hand but Bryant ducks. As City Boy hand comes back,
Bryant extends his hand and gets the tag. The ref calls it good as City Boy gets
into his face about not tagging him in. The two start arguing as Soul Hunter
grabs Bryant and sends him into the ropes. Soul Hunter misses the Clothesline
but receives a back kick by Bryant. It knocks him over. Bryant grabs Soul Hunter
then hits a russian Leg Sweep. Bryant picks up Soul Hunter and hits a Swinging
neck breaker. Bryant runs over and knees City Boy down to the ground. Bryant
sets up Soul Hunter. Just as Bryant starts Soul Hunter blocks it and Reverses
it. He sends Bryant over his head and to the mat. He then grabs Bryant and
shoves him into the corner of City Boy. City Boy smacks the hand of Bryant and
enters the ring. City Boy and Soul Hunter meet in the center of the ring. Soul
Hunter makes a excellent move and clotheslines City Boy's advance. The two face
each other and start throwing punches. Soul Hunter pushes into City Boy and
spins around sending him into the ropes. Soul Hunter sets up and knee's City Boy
hard into the stomach. Soul Hunter takes the advantage and pump handle slams him
into the mat. Picking him up he sets him up. Then hits his finishing maneuver.
Goes for the cover while the ref counts.
REF: ONE!
REF: TWO!
REF: THREE
Draven Holmes: Now that's the
way you should win Jake. With authority of the great one.
Jake Marsters: I have seen
better Draven.
Ryan Marx: THE WINNER OF THIS
MATCH IS... Soul Hunter!!
The ref raises Soul Hunter hand in victory.
Draven Holmes:
Now it is time for the Womens
Battle Royal.
Jake Marsters: This
womens match should have been called "Hot Box" or "Babe Box" or "Dream Box". But
Noooo the men get the cool name. That should be the "Sweat Box" match.

her arms as pink fireworks shoot out of the turnbuckles, Kiara smiles waving to
the crowd
Draven Holmes:
I was not sure to go for in this match up.
Jake Marsters:
That should be easy. The hottest one!
Things start out wildly in this match. Poe and Faith double team on Kellie Kwik while Joanna and Angel double team on Kiara. Crypt walks over to Poe and pulls her off of Kellie. Poe turns and looks at Crypt, then Poe violently shoves Crypt. Poe turns and starts back towards Kellie and Faith. Crypt however grabs Poe and spins her around, punching her in the face. Poe blinks, stumbling back. Poe the charges at Crypt, both of the women begin to trade blows and slaps. Meanwhile Faith and Kellie go head to head, Faith getting the upper hand here. Kiara shoves Joanna off of her as Angel comes from behind, grabs Kiara by her hair and bashes her head off her knee. Kiara stumbles back and then falls to the mat holding her head. Joanna smirks and spots Poe and Crypt out of the corner of her eye. Joanna makes a bee line over there, pulling Crypt off of Poe. The
Joanna throws a couple of chest slaps onto Crypt. The crowd gets to their feet as Angel gets Kiara to her feet and then hip tosses her over the ropes. Kiara hits the floor outside of the ring in shock.
Draven Holmes:
Kiara Skye was just eliminated folks.
Jake Marsters:
She looks shocked. Angel looks pleased.
Oh how right Jake is. Angel is smiling away. Angel then walks over to where Joanna and Poe are stomping on Crypt. Adam glares at the two women as he watches this. Kidd moves over to where Kellie and Faith are duking it out and cheers Kellie on. Faith looks at Kidd and flips him off. Kidd blinks and starts to get in the ring. Adam walks
over to Kidd and shakes his head. Kidd mutters and walks back to Adam's bike and continues to watch as Angel turns Joanna around and starts to trash talk her. Angel gestures over towards Kiara who is getting to her feet. Angel then gestures to herself, causing Joanna to shove her. Angel shoves Joanna and then pulls her hair. Joanna glares at Angel and punches her in the face. Angel stumbles back and then charges at Joanna spearing her through the ropes. Nearly both women go through the ropes, however Angel catches herself. Joanna hits the floor and then is
ushered back in by the ref. For she did not go over the top rope.
Draven Holmes:
Close one there. This match is just full of action!
Jake Marsters:
Yeah. And me without my camera...
Angel glares at the ref as Joanna gets back into the ring. Angel walks over and slaps Joanna as hard as she possibly can. Joanna glares at Angel and grabs her by her hair throwing her across the ring. Joanna walks over and helps Faith with Kellie who has managed to get the upper hand on Faith. Joanna goes to hit Kellie who ducks and let's Joanna's hit connect with Faith. Joanna blinks and turns around. Kellie then motions for Joanna to come on. Joanna charges at Kellie only to get
clothes lined by the fiery redhead. Faith charges at Kellie, pushing her against the ropes and trying to push Kellie over. Kellie grabs onto Faith. Kellie then pulls Faith towards the ropes, ducking as she does, catching Faith right in the neck with the rope. Kellie brings her feet up and sends Faith over the ropes. Faith hits the floor outside the ring.
Draven Holmes:
Faith is out of the match now. Joanna seems very mad.
Jake Marsters:
No shit Dray! Look at her attack Kellie!
Joanna walks over and grabs Kellie by the hair, pulls her to her feet. Once Kellie is to her feet Joanna delivers a DDT to Kellie. Angel has since pulled Crypt off of Poe. Poe then pulls Angel off of Crypt, only to begin trading blows with Angel. Crypt walks over towards Joanna and delivers a quick kick to the side of Joanna. Joanna holds her side for a short while as Crypt grab a hold of Joanna and delivers a few knee thrusts to the stomach of Joanna Reilly. Kellie slowly gets to her feet and watches Angel and Poe trade blows. Poe picks Angel up and attempts to heft her over head. Angel
spits down on Poe. Poe let's Angel fall flat on her stomach. Poe then moves to
over to Joanna and Crypt. Crypt is so pissed off that she does not notice Poe behind her. Poe grabs Crypt and puts her in a head lock while Joanna holds her stomach. Angel slowly gets to her feet and moves over to Kellie. Kellie shoves Angel away. Angel shoves Kellie back and then climbs up onto the top turn buckle. Angel then
back flips off and collides with the body of Joanna. Both women hit the mat with a loud thud. Kellie walks over and sweeps Poe's legs out from under her. Poe releases Crypt as she falls to her ass.
Draven Holmes: There goes Joanna. Only one MobScene girl left here.
Jake
Marsters: Poe. I believe she has what it takes to win this match!
Angel then down there, as Joanna lays there. Angel then catapults Joanna out of the ring. Angel gets up and walks over to Kellie and spears her. Angel then straddles Kellie and starts to bang Kellie's head of the mat. Kidd is now pissed off and once again Adam stops him from going to the ring. Crypt starts over towards Angel and Kellie, only to get stopped by Poe. Poe spins Crypt around and starts to deliver punches to Crypt, one right after the other. Crypt ducks one and moves around behind Poe. Poe turns around only to get irish whipped into the ropes by Crypt. Angel gets Kellie to her feet and moves her over to the ropes, Angel slips between the top and middle rope, locking Kellie into the tarantula. Kellie screams out in pain. The ref asks Angel to let go. Angel does, locking her arms around the bottom rope and using all of the power in her legs to pull Kellie out of the ring. However she fails. Angel then unlocks her arms and grabs Kellie by her hair and pulls her over the top rope to the floor and out of the match. Kellie hits the floor ass first and hard. Kidd rushes over to Kellie who is in a great deal of pain.
Draven Holmes: Oh WOW! Kellie Kwik is now out of this match.
Jake Marsters: Now it is just down to Poe, Angel and Crypt.
Angel turns and sees Crypt and Poe rolling around on the mat. each delivering powerful blows to the other. Poe finally has enough and grabs Crypt by her hair and bangs it off the mat. Angel does half a cartwheel, when she reaches Poe she locks her legs around Poe's neck and twists her body, causing Poe to twist off of Crypt. Crypt rolls away and gets to her feet. Angel releases Poe and gets to her feet. Poe holds her neck and rises.
Crypt walks over to Poe and delivers a couple chest chops to her. Poe staggers back. Angel then runs to spear Crypt who moves out the way. Angel instead spears Poe, spearing her so hard the two go over the top rope. Angel grabs onto the second rope while Poe grabs onto the apron. Angel kicks Poe in the shoulder, causing Poe to let go of the apron.
Draven Holmes: WOW! Poe is now out
of this match up!
Jake Marsters: Now it is down to
Crypt and Angel!
Angel
slowly pulls herself back into the ring. Crypt is right there waiting for her.
The two lock gazes. They circle eachother and then lock up. The crowd roars with
excitement as their lock up turns into a tussle. Both of them shove as hard as
they can, knocking them both off balance. They roll around on the mat, only one
ref in the ring now as he moves out of their way. Angel straddles Crypt and
bangs her head off the mat. Crypt reaches up and chokes Angel. Angel punches at
Crypt's arm as Crypt uses all her strength to get Angel off of her. Angel backs
off and holds her neck, trying to catch her breath. Crypt gets to her feet and
grabs Angel by the back of the head, kneeing Angel in the face. The crowd roars
louder as it appears that Angel's nose is now bleeding. Crypt shoves Angel to
the mat. Angel slowly gets to her feet, wipes the blood from her nose and then
grins, licking her upper lip. Crypt says something to her. Angel then back hands
Crypt with her bloody hand, getting blood all over Crypt's face. Crypt punches
Angel as hard as she can, causing Angel to stumble back more. Angel smiles and
walks towards Crypt. Crypt glares at her. Angel still smiles. Crypt grabs Angel
and gets in her face. Angel spits blood into Crypt's face, as we now see that
Angel's lip has been busted open. Adam blinks while Crypt stumbles back blinded.
Angel then grabs a hold of Crypt's hair and tries to get her over the top rope.
Crypt locks her own arms in the ropes and kicks Angel away from her. Angel comes
back at Crypt again. This time Crypt crouches down, waits for Angel to be over
and then rises, having Angel on her back and hefts her up and out of the ring.
Angel hits the floor outside the ring. Angel gets to her knees and starts to
beat the floor in a rage.
Ryan Marx:
THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH IS... CRYPT !!!
Crypt staggers away from the ropes and drops to her
knees. Adam gets in the ring and helps her stand, giving Crypt a huge hug. Then
Adam raises Crypt's one hand as the ref raises the other.
Draven Holmes:
Now we know who the better of the two are.
Jake Marsters:
Crypt cheated!
The Sykness vs. The Texas Outlaws -
Contendership
Ryan Marx:
The following match is scheduled for ONE FALL!
Ryan Marx: Making their way to the ring
weighing in at a combined weight of 532 pounds.. THE SYKNESS!!!
Down with the Sickness by Disturbed kicks up as pyros go off.
Lestat and Phoenix emerge from the smoke and make their way to the ring. Both
very ready for this match.
Ryan Marx: Their opponents coming to the ring standing at a
combined weight of 514 pounds, both hailing from Texas... Barry Savage and JJ
Pierce... THE TEXAS OUTLAWS!
The arena lights dim a little .. Welcome to the Jungle begins to play over the
PA System. Pyros go off and through the curtains come Barry Savage and JJ Pierce
, the Texas Outlaws They are wearing their black leather vests with TXO in white
letters on the back , Savage is carrying a branding iron and hangman's noose ..
the crowd is booing and throwing garbage at them as they stand looking at the
ring. Savage grins and is working the crowd .. laughing and giggling at them ,
he holds the noose high and Pierce flips off the crowd as they begin to make
their way to the ring. Pierce is no nonsense as he walks … the mirrored glasses
he wears cover and emotion he may have, Savage on contrast is very sly goading
the crowd and working them as he walks to the ring .. garbage is all over as
they enter the ring .. Savage slides in and Pierce hops on the apron and enters
through the second rope. In the ring Pierce calls for the mic.
JJ: Ladies and gentlemen .. what you are going to
experience tonight is a lesson old school style .. compliments of myself James J
Pierce and the “Texas Terror” Barry Savage. You better say your pray---
As the Texas Outlaws are in the thrall of laying down the law, their speech is
abruptly cut short when, from behind, the men of the Sykness attack them, Lestat
delivering a forearm smash to the neck of JJ Pierce, and Phoenix sends out a
devastating kick to the back of Barry Savage's head. Savage falls and rolls out
of the ring, followed by Phoenix, while Lestat turns the stunned JJ Pierce to
face him. The bell rings, and the Ref ushers Phoenix out of the match, leaving
the Vampyre and JJ to officially begin the match. Lestat locks his opponent up
in a headlock, and begins pounding on his back. He lands first one, then two,
and three blows on JJ's exposed back, then, reaching down to the newcomer's
waist, rakes his sharp nails quickly up Pierce's back, letting him go as he
reaches the top. Yelling out in pain, JJ straightens instantly, trying to reach
behind him to rub the deep red claw marks running the length of his back. Lestat
moves in to further the minimal damage he has done to the cowboy, but is met by
a reflexive punch to the jaw. The leader of the Sykness reels from the
unexpected attack to his person, while Pierce makes his way to his corner,
slapping a tag to his partner. Lestat, quick to recover from the defensive blow,
turns to pursue, and is met with an assaulting blow as Barry Savage enters the
ring. The Outlaw is all fire as he follows the shocked Lestat, landing blow
after blow against the Vampyre's shoulders and back. Lestat retreats to his won
corner, where he huddles against the corner, Barry following him, expecting easy
prey. As he reaches Lestat, though, he is met with a counter from Lestat's own
assistant, Mike Phoenix, who kicks high, over the rope, sending Barry scurrying
away defensively. Phoenix reaches over the ropes and slaps Lestat's shoulder.
Lestat nods, and Phoenix jumps up onto the ring post. As Barry turns around to
return to the fight, Phoenix takes flight, landing a flying clothesline, sending
both men to the mat. Phoenix, though, rolls to his feet on the other side. He
runs the last few steps to the Outlaws' ring post, leaping into the air and
hitting JJ with another leaping clothesline.
Draven Holmes: This match is off to an exciting start here in Dallas. These
newcomers are showing the Sykness what they're made of. Maybe it's the home
court advantage.
Jake Marsters: Home court? Well, this place is used for basketball and Hockey.
But hey, the Mavericks and the Stars? Not like this place has any REAL teams or
anything, right? I mean... the Cowboys? Sheesh!
JJ falls from the apron, landing on his feet, Phoenix looking down, taunting
him. He turns back into the ring, but his taunts gave the other Outlaw time to
recover. Phoenix, seeing his opponent back up, goes for a smashing forward kick,
but Barry Savage ducks the kick, rushing in and rising behind Phoenix, grabbing
him in a Full Nelson. Lifting Phoenix off of his feet, Barry turns to the side,
letting go with one arm, and slams Phoenix back down to the canvas. Phoenix
bounces once, then arches his back, grasping it in pain. Barry quickly drops to
a kneeling position above Phoenix, and begins a flurry of blows on his face.
Phoenix, unable to defend himself in the prone position, tries to fight away,
but he is overcome. Barry, breaking away for a moment, rises and steps towards
his corner, tagging his partner in, then, stepping backwards, kneels again,
resuming the pounding of Phoenix's face. While this goes on, JJ Pierce climbs to
the top of the ring post and leaps, descending upon the defenseless Phoenix.
Glancing up at his partner, Savage drops and rolls away, leaving Phoenix open
for the flying elbow drop delivered by JJ Pierce. Phoenix convulses once, then
lays still as JJ hooks a leg for the pin. The Ref drops to their side for the
count.
REF: ONE!
REF: TWO!
The Ref stops the count, though, as Lestat rushes in, landing a low dropkick to
the face of JJ Pierce. Pierce rolls away, and Lestat grabs Phoenix's ankle,
dragging him back to their corner.
Draven Holmes: That was a close call for the Sykness. Another second, and the
Outlaws would have been the number one contenders for the tag titles!
Jake Marsters: No shit!? Well, Dray, I'm so glad that you're here to explain the
rules to me. I never would'a gotten it on my own!
Draven Holmes: *through clenched teeth* I was talking... to the viewing...
audience!
He climbs out of the ring, and Phoenix simply raises a hand for Lestat to tag.
Pierce rises and rushes toward the Sykness' corner, only to be met by Lestat as
he enters the ring. Pierce, hoping to beat them to the tag, is met by a stiff
uppercut from Lestat as he climbs into the ring, The punch having been made out
of necessity, Pierce merely stumbles back a bit, but resumes his coarse shortly
there after. Lestat, though, already in the ring by now, meets the Texan evenly,
and the two lock up in a test of strength. Each man having a hand locked in the
test, Lestat raises a hand for JJ to join his other into it as well. JJ,
believing himself easily stronger than this man, clasps his other hand with
Lestat's, and the test begins. Back and forth it goes, finally ending up with JJ
Pierce forcing Lestat down to one knee. Lestat recovers briefly, but is forced
back to a defensive crouch as the other man shows himself the physically
stronger. Suddenly, Phoenix climbs back into the ring, heading towards the
fight, ring bell in hand. The Ref tears himself away from the fight, moving to
intercept Phoenix. He tears the bell from Phoenix's grip and tosses it to the
side. Meanwhile, behind the Ref, Lestat, tired of the test, reaches his foot up,
kicking JJ Pierce square in the groin.
Draven Holmes: That was a low blow by Lestat. Right in the jimmy. But the Ref
was dealing with Phoenix, and didn't see a thing!
Jake Marsters: Well, you know what they say. What the Ref don't know, won't hurt
ya'!
The Outlaw's knees buckle, sending him to the mat. Lestat, standing from his
crouch, pushes down on JJ's hands, now winning the test of strength. The Ref,
after getting Phoenix out of the ring, turns back, seeing the change in the
position of the two opponents. He moves over to the two. Seeing the pain on JJ's
face, and mistaking it for a result of the test, the Ref asks for JJ's
submission. Hesitantly, JJ Pierce shakes his head, but is still unable to rise
from his position. Leaning back, Lestat brings himself close enough for Phoenix
to reach out and slap his shoulder, which the Ref signals is a legal tag. But,
as the Ref is watching Phoenix enter the ring, Lestat lashes out, kicking JJ in
the groin again. At this point, Barry Savage having had enough of this, steps
through the ropes and heads toward the battle. Lestat lets go of JJ and starts
to meet Barry, and the Ref, trying to signal for Lestat to leave the ring,
follows to keep the two apart. Phoenix, taking advantage of the Ref's
distraction and the inactivity of JJ Pierce, reaches over and grabs the ring
bell the Ref had dropped at the edge of the ring apron. Pierce, still on his
knees, turns to see what Phoenix is doing behind him, but his cautious curiosity
is rewarded by a slam in the face from Phoenix with the illegal bell.
Draven Holmes: NO WAY!! No way is the Sykness going to get away with this. They
can't steal a win this way!
Jake Marsters: *smiling gleefully* Like they say, if the Ref don't see it, it
didn't happen!
At this point, on the other side of the ring, Lestat spears Barry Savage,
sending both men through the ropes to the floor, the Ref standing at the ropes
watching. Phoenix turns and throws the bell out of the ring to the floor, and
hooks the unconscious JJ Pierce's leg, yelling for the Ref. The Ref turns from
the battle outside the ring, and rushes to Phoenix and JJ, dropping beside them
and begins his count.
Ref: ONE!
Ref: TWO!
Ref: THREE!
Sitting up, the Ref motions for the bell, ending the match, and declaring the
Sykness the winners.
Draven Holmes: I can't believe the Sykness stole the number one tag team
contendership this way!
Jake Marsters: How dare you accuse the Sykness like that?! They did no such
thing!
Draven Holmes: They did so! You saw it!
Jake Marsters: I saw nothing. I don't know what you're talking about.
Draven Holmes: *throwing his hands up in shock* Fucking amazing!
Jake Marsters:
My BOYS
won!
Draven Holmes: Yeah. However I feel they should be disqualified
Jake Marsters:
Sure say that now that they are back stage!
-- BACK
STAGE --
Lestat comes from The Sykness' dressing room, still celebrating the victory over The Texas Outlaws. Lestat is going to grab one of Angel's bags that she left in their car for her when he sees the UFA World Champion Baatezu walking down the hall in front of him. Lestat pauses, and watches Baatezu turn a
corner. Lestat looks around and sees a few folding chairs leaning up against the wall. He grabs one and takes off running down the hall to catch up with the champ.
Lestat peeks around the corner and sees Baatezu talking with someone, his back turned. Lestat ducks down and sneaks up behind Baatezu. He stands up and pulls the chair back, letting
it come crashing down on the back of Baatezu. Baatezu drops to the ground as the other person takes off running. Lestat rolls Baatezu over and leans down, grabbing his chin.
Lestat: It's like I told you Baat. Every corner, every shadow, every empty parking lot....I will be there waiting. Now go give my title to The Raven so I can take it from him.
Lestat drops the chair next to Baatezu and turns to go get Angel's bag.
Draven Holmes:
Lestat is missing with Baatezu.. that may not be smart.
Jake Marsters: I wish they would all just get along. They could do so much
damage together.

JOSEPH THUNDERHAWK!
A clap of thunder explodes throughout the Arena, and then fades into the sounds
of rain that seems to pour inside the building, underplayed by Native American

looking left and right at the crowd, giving each side a fist in the air, then
turns and walks down to the ring. He greets fans that he passes with high and
low fives, the reaches the ring, rolling under the ropes. He comes to a standing

"Bad Religion" by Godsmack kicks up and Redeemer walks down to the ring, slight
grin on his face as he walks. The crowd cheers for Redeemer just as he gets into
the ring.
Draven Holmes:
I was not sure to go for in this match up. We have ten men to choose from.
Jake Marsters:
That should be easy. The Legacy will be a champ when all is said and done..
Damien Rage and Big D still exchange blows. Adrian Torretto has squared off with Alastor, Dominiq is taking on Jack, Redeemer is on Dominic, Joseph and
Legacy go head to head. Big D and Damien exchange some words and blows as each man seems to be giving the other a run for his money. Dominic gets the
upper hand on Redeemer and leaves him resting against the ropes. Dominic moves over towards Jack and Dominiq. Jack has his back to Damien Rage, lucky
for him. However not so lucky for Dominiq Torretto. Dominiq throws three straight jabs, Jack gets hits with one and ducks for the other two, which hit Damien
Rage in the back of the head. Damien stops what he is doing to Big D and let's him go. Damien adjusts his braids, while doing so he gets sucker punch to the
jaw from Big D. Adrian finishes stomping on Alastor and walks over grabbing Jack. Adrian starts to punch at Jack, Jack returns the punches with blows to
the abs of Adrian. Dominiq watches with a smirk. Dominiq then walks by Jack and smacks him in the back of the head. Jack's eyes widen as he looks and see's
no one as Dominiq is now over tending to Alastor with the help of Redeemer. Dominiq and Redeemer talk for a few seconds. Dominiq nods and leaves
Redeemer to beat on Alastor. Dominiq Torretto is slugged from behind by Dominic. Dominiq turns around looks to see who hit him, Dominic flexes and goes
for another punch. Dominiq is now wise to this and delivers an upper cut to Dominic, causing him to stagger back into Joseph Thunderhawk and Legacy's
battle.
Draven Holmes:
Wow. This match is amazing.
Jake Marsters:
I know. NO One has been eliminated yet. Not even close.
Jack now has Adrian on the ground and is stomping on him, yelling loud enough for the
microphones to pick up. "THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE!" Dominiq looks over
at Jack and see's the condition Adrian is in. Dominiq pushes through the Damien Rage versus Big D battle, then the Redeemer versus Alastor battle as
Alastor irish whips Redeemer into the ropes and then clotheslines him to the mat. Dominiq smacks Jack upside the back of the head. Jack blinks and gives
Adrian one last stomp. Jack turns and see's Dominiq. Jack's eyes widen as Adrian is slowly getting to his feet. Dominiq grins as Adrian puts Jack in a head
lock. Dominiq then gives Jack a noogie. Jack starts to scream "ONLY ONE!"
Draven Holmes:
What the heck does Jack mean?
Jake Marsters:
I got nothing. *Jake shrugs*
Damien Rage is currently making an attempt to throw Big D over the top rope. Damien Rage appears to succeed as Big D goes over the top rope. Damien
turns his back and walks over to Dominiq and Adrian. However, Big D is still in this match as he grabs the second rope and rolls back into the ring. Damien
grabs Dominiq, spins him around and delivers a couple of punches to Dominiq, who returns the punches. Adrian let's Jack drop to the mat and walks over to
where Alastor punches Redeemer in the forehead. Adrian arches a brow as he see's blood coming from the forehead of Redeemer. Adrian moves over and
pulls Alastor off of Redeemer. Adrian turns Alastor around and begins to deliver vicious blows to the upper body and head of Alastor. Damien backs of from
Dominiq and gestures for him to hold on one sec. Dominiq shrugs, then Damien steps back a good bit and then delivers a flying head butt to Dominiq. The
head butt leaves Dominiq stunned, Damien turns and across the ring, bouncing off the ropes, runs back towards Dominiq delivering a flying lariat to Dominiq.
This sends Dominiq over the ropes with Damien almost going with him. Damien grabs onto the top rope, he is pulled back in by Dominic. Damien mouths
"Thanks to Dominic". Dominic in return punches Damien. Damien grabs his nose and staggers back. Damien then punches Dominic back. The exchange of
blows begin between Damien and Dominic. Big D comes over and shoves Damien and Dominic. Damien and Dominic both stop and look at Big D. Big D
gestures to them to come on. Damien and Dominic look at eachother. They both shove Big D. However, that does not stop Big D. It only
aggravates him. Big
D then shoves Damien and Dominic again. Damien turns and without hesitating he stuns Big D. Dominic and Damien then pick Big D up and toss him over
the top the rope.
Draven Holmes:
Dominiq Torretto and Big D are both gone...
Jake Marsters:
Dominiq is waiting for Alastor.
Alastor is currently getting beat to hell and back by Adrian and Redeemer. Redeemer is not the only one bleeding either. Alastor's forehead has been busted
open, along with his lip. Dominiq is on that side of the ring yelling things at Alastor. Redeemer and Adrian then toss Alastor over the top rope. Alastor hits
the floor and lays there for a few minutes. Then Dominiq Torretto starts to stomping on Alastor, yelling at him as he does.
Draven Holmes:
Alastor was just eliminated!
Jake Marsters: NOT FAIR! Dominiq is beating on him! LOOK AT THAT!
Draven Holmes: What do you usually say Jake? I got nothing...
Legacy has taken a knee while Jack and Joseph stare eachother down. Adrian moves over towards Damien, knowing he threw Dominiq out. Jack holds his
arms up to Joseph, trying to plead his case. Dominic walks over to Legacy and grabs him up by his hair. Legacy delivers a blow to Dominic, busting
Dominic's lip open. Adrian is working on Damien, having Damien dazed. Adrian lifts Damien up and over the top rope. Damien hits the floor outside the ring.
Legacy has Dominic up over his head and tosses him over the top as well. Legacy then takes this time to catch his breath. Jack walks over to Legacy and
starts to deliver kidney punches to him. Legacy turns and grabs Jack, pulling him over the top rope. Jack's feet land in the apron. Joseph and Adrian are now
going head to head. Redeemer moves over to help Jack. Redeemer grabs Legacy by the legs and hefts him over as Jack pulls Legacy by his hair. Legacy hits
the floor, Jack who is still on the apron, looks down at Legacy and flexes. Redeemer pushes Jack off the
apron. Jack hits the floor and Legacy gets up and
starts to beat on Jack. While on the other side of the ring Damien Rage has joined in with Dominiq as the two viciously assault Alastor.
Draven Holmes: Wow! Just down to three men. Adrian Torretto, Joseph Thunderhawk and Redeemer.
Jake Marsters: Did Jack just flex at Legacy?
Joseph has Adrian on the ropes, and then Joseph sends Adrian over the top rope leaving it down to just Joseph and Redeemer. Redeemer turns ready for
more fight as Joseph runs a hand through his long raven hair. Joseph turns around and see's Redeemer. The two men meet in the middle of the ring and look
eachother over. They both smile as Joseph extends his hand. Redeemer claps his hand in Joseph's and the two shake hands. The ref walks over to the two
men and says something. They both nod and step back from eachother.
Draven Holmes:
A lot of respect between Joseph and Redeemer here.
Jake Marsters:
Whatever... Alastor should still be in the ring. As should Legacy.
Joseph and Redeemer start things off with a lock up. Joseph winning the test of strength. Redeemer steps back and looks Joseph over, smirks. Joseph swings
at Redeemer who ducks under Joseph's arm, grabbing it has he goes. Redeemer comes up behind Joseph, twisting his arm. Joseph winces slightly and braces
himself. Redeemer holds Joseph's arm and pushes it into Joseph's back. The ref moves over an
d tells him to release it. Redeemer has no problem doing so.
Joseph spins around, rolls his shoulder and spears Redeemer picking him up and executes his finisher Rolling Thunder. (Multiple Suplexes) Once he is done, Joseph gets up and picks Redeemer up and tosses him over the top rope. Redeemer grabs onto the apron, however he loses his grip and falls to the floor. The bell rings to end the match. All the chaos outside of the ring has stopped.
Ryan Marx:
THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH AND NEW UFA MENS CHAMPION IS... JOSEPH THUNDERHAWK!!!
Draven Holmes:
JOSEPH WINS IT!
Jake Marsters:
Oo.... here comes boss lady.
President Jennalee Bradshaw starts down the ramp with the UFA Mens Championship belt in her hands. Jennalee gets down to the ring, Ryan Marx holds the hopes open for her. Joseph is shocked, Redeemer is now getting back in the ring. Jennalee hands Joseph the UFA Men Championship belt and then raises his arm. Redeemer raises his other hand as the crowd is to their feet and cheering.
The Raven vs. Baatezu (c) -
UFA World Championship
Ryan Marx:
This match is scheduled for One Fall for the UFA World Championship Title!
Ryan Marx:
Making his way to the ring making his way to the ring standing at 6
foot 4 inches in height and weighing in at 232 pounds hailing from
Mirmansk, Russia... THE RAVEN!!!
As
a light sprinkling of sparks falls from the ceiling like snow, and the
slower part of his music plays, The Raven steps out onto the stage
wearing a long black cloak with a deep hood. Suddenly there is a
near-blinding explosion and sparks shoot from above and below, as he
simultaneously throws off the cloak, and springs into the air in an
arial chinese splits. At the point of explosion, D's music has picked
up to a pulse pounding tempo, and he moves to the ring, alternately
greeting fans he passes, and watching the man who waits in the ring.
Ryan Marx:
His opponent making his way to the ring making his way to the
ring standing at 6 foot 4 inches in height and weighing in at 225
pounds hailing from Brownsville, Texas. The dark Lord of the Apocalypse and UFA Wooorld Champion ... BAATEZU!!!
Total
black out in the Arena and Sinner by Drowning Pool starts playing and
there is a flash of light and all you see is his silhouette of his
massive frame. Arena becomes dark again and when the lights come back
on you see him standing in the ring with his arms crossed.
Draven Holmes: This match has been a long time coming, between Baatezu, self-proclaimed Dark Lord of the Apocalypse, and Dimitri "The Raven" Petreko. There is no love lost in this match, that we know for sure.
Jake Marsters: No Lie, Dray. These two have hated each other since the beginning, which I guess makes it easy for Raven to blame Baatezu for his loss of this same title a few months back.
Draven Holmes: What do you mean, Blame? Do we need to see that video again!?
Jake Marsters: No, No Dray. I see Raven tap out to Yin Yang one more time, I'll wet myself. That was just TOO funny!
Draven Holmes: *shaking his head in disbelief* You're amazing, you know that?
The two contenders face off in the center of the ring, Baatezu, the larger of the two, stands looking down into the eyes of his opponent. The Raven, though, glaring back up, shows no sign of being intimidated as Baatezu had clearly intended. Baatezu, his demeanor not changing, begins speaking to Raven, an evil smile spreading across his features. He takes a cautious step back, and
slowly offers a hand to the other man, their gazes never leaving one another. The two stand this way for some time, Baatezu with his hand extended, Raven glaring at his larger opponent's smiling gaze. Finally, slowly, Raven let's his gaze fall to the
offered
hand. He glances to one side, then the other, as if looking for the crowd's
assistance making this decision. Finally, his gaze returning to Baatezu's, Raven
slowly reaches out and takes Baatezu's hand. Baatezu smiles bigger, and looks
out across the stunned crowd.
Draven Holmes: What is this?! Raven seems to be accepting Baatezu's
invitation to join the Apocalypse! I don't think ANYONE saw this one coming.
This can't be for real!
Jake Marsters: What'd you expect, man? Raven's a smart man. He knows where survival lies. In the future. HA!
Suddenly, though, Baatezu's smile disappears as Raven jerks him closer, pulling the Dark Lord into a high placed knee-thrust. The crowd explodes at the realization of Dimitri's true intention, and begin cheering him on. Not expecting the attack, Baatezu grabs his abdomen, but the damage is done. He bows low, trying to catch his breath, and Raven begins to deliver a series of knee thrusts to his opponent's face. Finally, with a high snap kick, Raven sends Baatezu standing erect again, and steps back, dragging the Dark Lord with him. He Irish Whips Baatezu past him, then, still holding on, drags him back again, landing a
vicious Kitchen Sink maneuver in the big man's abs, sending him in a flipping motion across the ring. Raven turns and raises a fist in the air to the crowd, as Baatezu slowly begins to get to his feet. Once Baatezu is fully up, Raven rushes at him again, delivering a flying knee thrust to his chest and chin. Baatezu falls back, grabbing the ropes for support. Raven, grabbing Baatezu
on the shoulder, pushes his opponent up, and delivers a punch to his face. He rears back and delivers another, and another. The fourth, however, Baatezu manages to block. Raven tries for a fifth, but Baatezu blocks it as well, delivering in turn a powerful blow of his own, sending Raven stumbling away. Taking this opportunity to steady himself, Baatezu wades in towards Raven, reaching out for a handful of hair. Baatezu grabs his opponent as planned, and turns to the crowd, walking in a circle, and parading the Raven behind him.
Draven Holmes: Ha! I told you Raven wouldn't join the Apocalypse!
Jake Marsters: *bored sarcasm* Yeah, yeah. Goody for you. You get a cookie.
Having had enough time to recuperate, Raven lashes out with a fist at the back of Baatezu's knee. The big man almost stumbles, but
steadies himself, continuing the parade. He breaks just briefly from his walk to turn and land a hard punch to the back of his opponent's head, then begins walking again. Raven, dazed, attempts the same attack again, and is answered with the same ferocity. A third time, Raven tries the attack on Baatezu's
leg. Baatezu, though, quickly tires of this, and stops, dropping to a knee. Quickly readjusting his grip to around Raven's head, he pulls the Russian over in a
vicious snap-mare maneuver. Raven lands hard on the mat, sending the ropes into fitful vibrations. He arches his back, obviously in pain from the impact, as Baatezu stands. Walking around Raven, the Dark Lord lands a kick in his opponent's back. Walking to the other side, he kicks Raven in his previously injured ribs, This doubles the Raven over to protect his injured ribs. Smiling to the crowd, Baatezu walks back around to the Raven's unprotected back, and kicks him their again,
eliciting another arching of the back from his downed opponent. Quickly stepping over the Raven, Baatezu lands another hard strike into Raven's abdomen, followed by another, and another, and another. The Ref finally steps in and forces Baatezu back away from the Raven, but Baatezu does manage to get in one quick chance to spit on his downed enemy. The ref moves back to Raven's side to check on him, but Baatezu reaches down and shoves the small man to the side. He makes as if to stomp on the Raven's exposed head, but as his foot descends, the Raven grabs the offending foot, and twists, sending Baatezu off balance and to the mat. Still holding the foot, Raven rises to his feet and lifts Baatezu's leg higher. He lashes out with a stiff kick to Baatezu's thigh. The big man cries out in pain, and Raven repeats the assault. Quickly, he begins treating the thigh as Baatezu had treated his sensitive ribs. The Ref, recovering from Baatezu's throw, grabs the raven and forces him to let Baatezu's foot go. He does so, but continues stomping on Baatezu's now injured thigh, as he battles the Ref away. The Ref, finally dragging Raven back to his senses, coaxes him away from Baatezu, and returns to check on the fallen Dark Lord.
Draven Holmes: This is some match. Baatezu has already tried to exploit Raven's previous injuries, but Raven was able to turn it around on him, and begin a counter-attack on his hated enemy!
Jake Marsters: Yeah, but you saw that at the beginning. Raven DID take Baatezu's hand, which means he is actually thinking about accepting Baatezu's offer to join the Apocalypse.
Draven Holmes: *an incredulous look to Jake* That was a ruse. A trick! You can't really think that he was accepting that?!
Jake Marsters: Hey, I just call it as I see it. If the Raven's really as smart as he says he is, then he'll make the right decision when all's said and done.
Baatezu scoots to the ropes, as Raven begins stalking towards him. When he reaches his fallen opponent, Raven kicks out at him, but Baatezu has other plans. Rolling under the ropes, Baatezu sets his feet on the mat, and grabs Raven's kicking leg. Pulling back, he drops Raven to his back, and drags him out of the ring as well. As raven lands on his feet, Baatezu immediately assaults him with a hard blow to the face. He tries for another, but raven blocks it, and returns a blow of his own to Baatezu's face. The two exchange blows outside the ring,
Baatezu then Raven. The Dark Lord, then Petreko. Again a blow, and another, followed by another and another and yet another. Finally, both men beginning to tire from this exhausting battle, Baatezu throws another punch, but is blocked. Then comes another... blocked. Finally, he makes one last attempt, and the arm is caught by the expectant Raven, who counters with a high spinning roundhouse to the side of Baatezu's head, sending the bigger of the two gladiators into a nearby
ring post, head first. Raven, using the opportunity of a stunned opponent, leans on the apron to get his breath. Baatezu, reeling from the blow, holds his head and also leans on the apron for support. Moving along the apron to Raven, Baatezu lashes out with a feeble punch, which Raven, who is not stunned, easily ducks, lashing out with a kick to Baatezu's abdomen, followed by a second one to his head.
Draven Holmes: Looks like both men are starting to tire. This match is taking
a lot out of them.
Jake Marsters: No kidding. I mean, just watching them is wearing ME out!
Grabbing Baatezu by the head, Raven rolls him back into the ring, and follows as well. He again grabs Baatezu by the head, and lifts him to his feet, and delivers a knee thrust to Baatezu's face. Looking out to the crowd for approval, he lands another in the same manner. He continues with several more, alternating legs with each blow, each seeming to revitalize him in some way. Finally, letting go of his opponent's head, he let's the last knee thrust raise Baatezu to his feet. Running back, Raven throws himself against the ropes, rebounding towards
Baatezu. Baatezu, though, a bit off balance, luckily bends down trying to catch his breath, and Raven's
clothesline passes harmlessly over his back. Baatezu then stands and turns, as Raven rebounds back again, towards him. As raven reaches the dizzied Dark Lord of the Apocalypse, Baatezu roars with all he has, and steps forward, landing a
vicious clothesline to Raven, while Raven's own clothesline lands on it's mark this time, sending both men to the mat, where they lay, unmoving. The Ref stands over both men checking them briefly, then holds up a finger for the crowd.
REF: ONE!
Raven begins to stir, and glances to his opponent, who lays still as a corpse. The Ref, waiting for a response from Baatezu, notices Raven is not quite to his knees yet.
REF: TWO!
REF: THREE!
Raven finally makes it to a knee, and the count stops, the Ref backing away to let the contenders operate. Raven, using the ropes to catch his breath, starts towards Baatezu's still unmoving form. He reaches down and slaps Baatezu a few times on the face, then, gaining no response, glances to the crowd. Then, turning his attention back to his opponent, Raven nudges Baatezu with one foot. Satisfied that Baatezu is still out, Raven reaches down, grabbing Baatezu by the back of the head, and makes to lift him to his feet. But,
unexpectently, Baatezu's hand shoots straight up, grabbing a shocked Dimitri Petreko by the throat. Dimitri's eyes widen in shock as the Dark Lord of the Apocalypse rises easily to a sitting position, then turns and stands, still holding the Raven by the throat. Raven makes several kick attempts at Baatezu's abdomen, but, although each lands solidly, each also seems to have no effect on the larger of the two opponents. Glaring at the Raven, Baatezu lifts him off of his feet one handed, holding him high for all to see. Raven continues kicking at
Baatezu, landing blows at Baatezu's face, shoulders and chest, all of which seem to have no effect. Finally, with a great roar, Baatezu swings Raven down and to the mat, slamming the would-be champion hard into the canvas. Raven's legs and lower body bounce, then he lay still in the center of the ring. Baatezu drops to a kneeling position, and rests his hands on Raven's chest, and the Ref begins his count.
REF: ONE!
REF: TWO!
The Referee's hand descends for the third count, but Raven manages to push a fist in the air, stopping the count. Baatezu, thoroughly miffed about his opponent's recovery, stands, gesturing to the Ref that it had been a three count. The Ref contests that it was not, even though
Baatezu backs him menacingly into a corner. He motions again and again for the Ref to sound the bell, but the Ref refuses, not willing to sacrifice his integrity for his safety. He quickly warns Baatezu that a disqualification would occur if he
laid a hand on him, but Baatezu simply shakes his head as if he doesn't care.
Behind the confrontation, the Raven, having been stirring for a few moments, goes still for a second and comes to his feet with a quick kippup. Glancing around, giving a smile to the crowd, he stretches a bit and goes into a waiting attack position, not far behind his opponent.
The Ref, seeing Raven behind Baatezu, tries to tell Baatezu his opponent is up, but the dark Lord pays him no heed. Suddenly, in a fit of rage, the Dark Lord raises a huge fist and drops it, aimed straight for the face of the cowering official. The Ref, though, quick on his feet, drops to a crouch, and springs out to the side and around Baatezu. Baatezu, not willing to give up such easy prey, turns to follow him. As he turns though, too late, he sees the Raven, on his feet, and already in motion, as Raven delivers his patented "Siberian Superkick" to Baatezu's face, bouncing the man back, hitting his
head off of the turnbuckle he had just had the Ref cornered against. He stumbles forward, looking as if still ready to fight, but then stops, and falls, twisting in mid fall, and lands on his back. Raven quickly drops and hooks Baatezu's right leg, and the Ref drops in beside them.
REF: ONE!
REF: TWO!
REF: THREE!
The Raven gets up, and the Ref raises his hand in victory. Ryan Marx, now inside the ring, makes the
announcement, barely heard above the cheering crowd, as he hands the belt to the Raven.
Ryan Marx: The winner of this match, and new Ultimate Fighting Association Wooooorld Champion... Dimitri... "The Raven"... Petreko!!!
While the Raven is standing on the ring post, a broad smile lighting his features, camera flashes going off all around him, he holds up the belt for all to see. Suddenly, though, an inferno explodes on the stage. Pain and Panic, the brothers Grimm, coming running down the ring, sliding under the ropes. As they approach, Raven drops down from the
ring post, handing the belt to Ryan Marx as he assumes a defensive position. As he readies himself for the upcoming battle, The Raven misses Baatezu rising behind him. Baatezu attacks Raven from behind, sending him against the ropes, where Pain grabs the new champion, and pins him to the ropes. Baatezu turns to the crowd, and signals for Panic to get Raven in the air. Panic, happy to oblige his Dark Lord, turns and slaps a huge hand around Raven's throat. He hoists Raven into the air, and Baatezu turns his back, taunting the
on looking crowd. But, unseen to him, the scene in the ring changes.
Panic, glancing at Pain for approval, lowers the Raven to the mat. He steps up beside his brother, and they both turn to Baatezu's open back. Baatezu, ready to finish the assault, turns back to the ring, suddenly a look of confusion lighting his features, as he sees Raven on his feet. He looks at the two, and motions for them to attack Raven, but they simply refuse to respond. Quickly becoming angered, Baatezu shoves Panic, who takes the assault stoically. He turns to threaten the more sensible Pain, who refuses, and is rewarded with a slap in the face from the Dark Lord for his disobedience. Suddenly, having finally had enough, Pain slaps a hand around Baatezu's throat. Panic, nodding vigorously, follows suit, setting Baatezu up for the Grimms' finisher: the
Crucifix Chasmal. They hoist him into the air, and turn, facing the Raven. The Raven, total and utter confusion showing on his features, watches the spectacle. The Brothers, having completed their turn, both drop to a knee, slamming Baatezu all the way down from his precarious perch, slamming into the mat, where he lay, unmoving. The Brothers stand, looking out to the crowd, the turn to look confused now
theirs as the crowd cheers them loudly. Panic, taking the title belt from Ryan Marx, turns and hands it to Raven, and the brothers each take one of the new champ's fists and hold it high in victory. After a bit, they both point at him approvingly, and exit the ring, one under the ropes, one over, and back up the ramp. Looking on in confusion, glancing between the retreating Grimms and their Dark Lord, The Raven stands, his intelligent mind for once unable to comprehend what has just happened.
