Till The End Of Time

Well, this is my review after countless hours of playing this wonderful, innovative game.

Graphics: Well, I would have to say for a game that came out in Japan way back in 2003, I would have to say the graphics are QUITE remarkable. For a game that has SO many areas and cutscenes and the like, the graphics come in at top notch, as very little pixels are even seen in the game, as they look quite smooth throughout gameplay, and as far as many games go, this game didn't sacrafice story or anything for graphics, and the anime style is a very nice touch too. SCORE 10/10

Sound: The music in this game is quite remarkable. Many of the songs are quite decently long and unlike most games, the looping in the music isn't very notacable at all, as the composer Sakubara does another very impressive job with this games soundtrack, the music is good enough that I'd reccomend even buying the soundtrack as the music in this game feels flawless. SCORE 10/10

GamePlay: I would have to say the gameplay is the biggest aspect of this great game. One of the very nice things in the game is the very innovative battle system that this game implements. One thing this game uses thats very nice is that before a "battle encounter", you can see all the enemies on the field screen, so you can prepare yourself for a battle or even dodge a battle all together. Once you touch an enemy your taken to a battlefield seperate from the world map just as many RPG's but any connection stops there. Unlike other RPG's, you don't stand still once your in a battle, you then take control of The main Character (or someone else if you have them selected) and can control every action you take, form walking around the battlefield, to running up to an enemy and attacking them. You use the O and X buttons to do 'strong' and 'weak' attacks, and can assign various special attacks, up to 2, to each button and can plan your strategy accordingly, though the game also has a unique "guts" bar, which is kind of like a stamina bar, so this prevents the player from 'button mashing' their way through battles, while the AI controls your other 2 characters, which you can effect how they act with the option menu in or out of battle, though by pushing RI or L1 you can immediatly take control of any of your other party members in battle, which you can use for even more strategy in battles too. So all in all, this game has almost flawless gameplay and really gives this game a good name, and a worthwhile play. SCORE 11/10!

Story: The story in this game is quite a good one, taking you from outer space to a medieval planet on the far reaches of the cosmos. There are many areas and much story to unravel throughout this wonderful game, and the story really is good, though they COULD have made slight improvements to it, but really that is probably this games only flaw, but none the less, its still a fairly good story none the less. SCORE 8/10

Overall: Well, as my scores and thoughts put it, all in all, this games is top notch and a worth while additon to any RPG players video game library and is quite a masterpiece of a game for anyone to enjoy and I personally reccomend this game to anyone seeking a challenge and a fun game to play. SCORE 10/10
