She likes to remain a solid pillar for people to lean on like the ruff and strong one, though actually all she needs is someone for her to lean on. Likes: White Lilies, black roses, pies, and rain Loves: The ocean, singing, the wind in her hair. Dislikes: Seeing birds hunted, seeing birds served on a dinner plate, smelly things. Hates: People talking about her behind her back, people asking too much about her past, and cows. Appearance: Her skin tone is very white, so white that she seems to almost glow in the pale moonlight, her hair falls down to her thighs, coming down straight then ending in waves, her eyes are forest green, hard and cold refusing to reflect any light or softness. She wares a black shirt with long draping sleeves, a lavender vest always unbuttoned and a black skirt that comes to her knees held up by chains attached to her belt. Karai also has wings they are light blue fading into light turquoise-green at the tips, she has, strangely enough, four wings, 2 big ones with the green tips and 2 smaller ones bellow them with the green fading into yellow then the yellow fades to orange. She has 7 gold bangles, 3 on her left hand, 4 on her right, and she has about 8 pendants and old necklaces hanging off of her belt as well as one new one hanging around her neck. it's shaped like a little glass box with a turquoise colored stone shaped like a tear drop floating inside, the stone inside the pendant is the only one of it's kind found, so the pendant is famously known as 'The Tear of an Angel' (she got one of her nicknames from that pendant) History: Karai has met no one like her, has never heard of anyone like her and feels she never will. She can't remember who she was before she was 12. She named her self taught her self how to read, write speak and do almost everything else. She is very insecure because of who she is and because of her wings. She feels she has little or nothing to do with those around her and that feeling can thrust her right into the hands of the enemy. She obtained 'The Tear of and Angel' when it was sold in Treno and the noble who bought it dropped it off the overlook (when you fist step though the gates) and it fell into Karai's hands. She likes watching others fall in love, since she feels that no one could ever love her because of who she is. She is desperate to find out who she was and what she is. She will stop at nothing and will destroy anything that comes between her and her goal (finding her past) anything at all. however when it comes right down to what her heart most deeply desires, all she wants is to be loved. After the finding of 'The Tear of an Angel' her luck (which had been very bad up until then) seemed to change drastically, she played, once, for money instead of Tetra cards, and won 156,687gil! (but spent it all so she's back down to 400) As many of a time people stared as she walked down the street, she began to get used to it and didn't really care anymore. Even though her wings sometimes got her stuck in doorways, she could always get along. Because she wasn't ever taught how to fly her wings are, as pretty as they look, almost useless. They became weak and couldn't support her weight, as she grew though her race was designed to (and lost the money to buy things to eat) get lighter at the age when normally they would start flying. With this she began to practice, and soon she could use the skill she can now, flight, not true flight but enough so that she doesn't have to walk, just floats above the ground. (although she sometimes gets dust in peoples eyes from flapping her wings so much) Karai, takes a liking to Eiko, she's not quite sure why, perhaps it's because she feels they have something in common. Karai (though she doesn't like to admit it) is afraid of her self, literally. She doesn't know what she is, she doesn't know what her limits are (she'll admit that), and she doesn't know how much power she has. She wants to keep searching for answers on her quest to know who she is, but, she's afraid of what the answer might be.
