| Octane was first introduced to "the scene" in the summer of '01. From there he immersed himself in the music and studied mixing techniques and DJ sets in hopes that one day he would put it all together. Not long after he bought his first set of decks, but due to financial problems he had to sell them 3 months later. Until mid '03, Octane produced his own tracks and mixes on computer, but was inspired to return to the decks when he met fellow Consortium member DJ Berzerk. He was then introduced to friends who would later make Drone Consortium. In spinning Octane selects tracks that inspire emotions that range from anger to happiness and hope. Whether it be uplifting trance or something more aggressive, every song has a personality to it, and he wishes to present that to the listener. He, not only projects music to ear, but to heart as well. His goal is to make it through a lifetime of thoughts and emotions in the span of one set, without even realizing time had past! This man will take you for the ride of your life! |
