Yeahhh.. the Urthlings hit up Rawhead's studio this Friday and layed down some vocals for a trip into the depths of the ocean. The track came out simply titled "Minor Threat". The entire Urthlings crew (with the absence of the Texan, Kavi) spit over the sleepy robot warfare instrumental and Chorus Babblebones joined along. The track came out sick and is the start of a beautiful collaboration between Medusa Media / Make Your Fate Records.

CLICK HERE TO CHECK OUT THE URTHLINGS / CHORUS BABBLEBONES TRACK "MINOR THREAT"!

The man himself Panzah Zandahz has plenty of new flavor on the plate for all of us to enjoy. He just released his follow up to his "Radiohead Breaks & Beats" record. A new mixtape cd, entitled "Me & This Army : Radiohead Remixed & Mashed Up". Mash ups include the vocal stylings of MF Doom, Edan, Ghostface, De La Soul, Jungle Brothers & more. Also features an exclusive from PCM's Sev Statik! I just got this CD in the mail and I'm in love.. my favorite track is the remix of De La Soul's "Itsoweezee".

That's not all our boys got to offer.. He just pressed up a limited edition 7" single from the Radiohead Remix cd and they are now available. The A side features the "My Iron Lung" remix of Ghostface Killah's "Daytona 500." The B-Side features the "Wicked Child" remix of MF Doom's "Change the beat." Be the first on your block to have one!

Damn .. this site is definitely in need of some updates and repairs that I will be getting onto. All the pages will be updated very soon. As for the news.. The Spaced Out album is done. It's called "Fortean Phenomena".. there's alot of instant classics on this baby and I'm pretty pleased with this record. There are a few flaws, but that's what makes me even more excited to do the next one. Hex put a hell of alot of work into this and so did I. The album features appearances by Sianide, my man Sime Gezus and a bunch of Hex's homies known as Creepshow. Check out the sampler now!

My good buddy Nick Blair just finished his second film, "The Skate Movie 2". Nick's an up and coming film maker who's been following around some of the best skateboarders in Saratoga Springs including Chris Brown, Brian Van Vlack, Steve Zabala and Casey Schultz. I lended Mr. Blair a handful of instrumentals I composed and they can be heard all through out the film.. so .. we gotta support my brothers! If you'd like a copy, it's only $5 and you can contact Nick at [email protected]!

WTF? what's up kids. I know it's been ages since I updated this thing, but MySpace has basically taken over for the website. So.. wusup? Alright. Let's get straight to the iLL shit. I bet you're wondering why Goretex's mean ass mug is pictured above. Well, you guys remember my boy Judge Cryptic who dwells deep in Madhattan? Well homeboy is working hard on his follow up to "Organized Doom". The new album is called "An Artistic Funeral" and from what I've heard so far, the shits bananas. Dude's defintely stepped up his shit. So yeah, recently he got down and was chilling with your favorite Non Phixion emcee, Goretex and recorded a track with him for "An Artistic Funeral". Well, who do you think produced that banger? Yeahhh, who's the only dude you know with scissor for hands besides Johnny Depp? To hear a snippet of the track, click HERE.

In other news, the Urthlings second show was.... well... a disaster. Dudes were late, Sime was M.I.A. until the end of the set, 3 of the 5 bands playing canceled. And oh yeah.. there was NOBODY fucking there. Terribly unorganized and horrible promotion for this show on all of our parts. The only people that were there were members from the bands Florence Manifesto & The Friendship Club (who opened, and were the fucking shit.. and you can check them out by clicking HERE ), as well as our homies Eric, Shannon, Stalkz & Nick. The show was at the New Age Cabaret in Albany, and that place is the SHIT. Beautiful atmosphere. Shannon snapped some great pictures of us that you can check out, HERE

Shit was amazing.. we opened up at the Battle of the Bands and were def the underdogs but we got shit started. What a show.. we were really well received by the audiance.. the energy was amazing. Only down side, we got cut off about 20 minutes early due to cursing. Fuck censorship.. The show was great.. Sime Gezus was with us.. Samuel Yager made a quick appearances as well as Tiresis. But yeah, to all those who didn't share our experience you can check out some amazing pictures from the show taken by Nick Blair.. well they're actually taken from video footage that he shot of our set .. so yes.. be on the look out for some video footage from the show!

But fear not, the Urthlings conjured up some fresh new emcees for a track called "Dream Sequence". We got Skahttah Brayned & Balance to spit some shit on this track, so check it out. Right now I've got a remixed version of the track up, because the beat we used is going to be used for something else. Enjoy!

Ah yes, yes.. this appears to be a new weekly thing. A new Urthlings track for your ears every week! Nice huh? Alright.. this one is fuckin' huge though.. Every track we do, we get better.. The quality on this one is superb too.. Here's the downlow on this track.. It's called "Stay Out of the Basement" and was originally supossed to be a 10 emcee collabo with me, Babble Free, Shade, Kavi, John the Prophet, Sime Gezus, Cali Col, R.E.E.L., Tyler & Wil Blaise. Sime had to work, Wil got lost, Tyler disappeared, Cali got mic-shy & we lost R.E.E.L.'s number.. but needless to say, we pulled John the Prophet's ass out of retirement! The track was produced by me & today I've even hooked up an exclusive REMIX for ya'll! So check out both tracks and enjoy bitches!!

What's up everybody?.. First of all I want to welcome myself back from an awesome Spring Break trip to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with my lady and her company. Good times were had, the weather was great & I had a blast! From Chinese & Mexican food, swimming in the Atlantic, checking out some local haunted houses, watching my babes get her hair braided all fancy (ouch!) & hanging around with five very strange little kids. Thanks for letting me tag along! Now onto the news..

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Before I left for SC me & the Urthlings crew recorded a brand new track called "Life is Hell". In my opinion this track came out awesome and I have very high hopes for this whole Urthlings project. The track was produced by me and remember these are just demos, so the quality is heavily reduced. Babble Free got a little rhyme shy on this one, but fear not, you can hear his goofy ass in the intro! Oh yeah & much, much props to the lovely little lady Rachel for the bomb ass Urthlings logo you see above! Alright.. enjoy the track!

Aww shit, what's up kids. Anybody out there remember the project me & John the Prophet were working on under the name Urthlings? Well for a few years the project was basically scrapped, officially now that JTP is consintraiting on different genres of music. Well the Urthlings are officially alive and breathing. The group now consists of Shade Rhapsodist, Babble Free, Kavi & myself. We're working hard on our debut demo, "People Under the Stars" & we've already got two brand new tracks for you to peep!

WTF? Scissor Hands & Renigade? What is this the year 2000? Yeahh.. my boy Renigade is still spitting the ill shit straight out of RomuLust, MI, and he's gotten alot better too. Me & Renny haven't collabed since a little ditty known as "13" which appeared on a little EP I dropped years ago called "Dustcollectors". But anyways, on to the new shit.. Here's a nasty little verse he spit over one of my most recent beats.. Check it out!

The Wait is over Motherfuckers

The music video for "Touch a Ghost" is here. Thanks to the super, mega editing skills of Chris Brown. He seriously turned this footage of pure shit into a classic, hilarious, well done video. Much love and props goes to my man Chris! Don't really judge us to harsh on this video, it was just made for fun and we had fun doing it. The only down side is that Chris totally messed up Sam's guitar parts, but other than that the video is great. Watch close for some cameos by Shade Rhapsadist and watch even closer for a cameo by the director himself! Enough talk, watch the damn video and leave feedback in the guestbook!

What's up everybody? I got some dope news for ya'll. The 518 internet based comic series "Teh Funnies" have just released a free, downloadable soundtrack to their animated movie they're working on called "Out the Frame". The album contains many talented underground hip hop acts such as Renigade & 13 Amp, as well as yours truely, and my group project with Stalkz called "Crushing Big Brother". They mistakingly credited me as Faust, but make no mistake, the insturmental I contributed entitled "Whispering Woods (Remix)" is an exclusive, brand new track. So click HERE to download this FREE album!

In other news, long time friend of mine JDot (from Draft Pick) is releasing his long awaited solo debut on March 8th. It's called "It Is What It Is" & it contains some production from me for the tracks "Come See 'Bought Me" & "Eye's Closed". More info as it comes!

"Touch a Ghost" music video??

You heard right. A few weekends ago Sam Yager, Shade Rhapsodist & I took part in the filming of a low budget (haha) music video for Sam & I's demo "Touch a Ghost". It was directed by Chris Brown & he's currently editing it as we speak. Now, we know that it isn't going to be a masterpiece and we didn't really take the filming too seriously, but if it is indeed not a pile of crap it will debut on this website as time comes! So look forward to seeing that!

The website is in good shape, I've updated all of the sections (the Pictures section grows every week!) & am about to add more sections to the "Other" part of the site, including an Art section (mainly to showcase the beautiful work of my good friend Portia) & I believe I'm going to bring back the Horror Movie Reviews!

Lastly look forward very soon to some very special projects I will be taking part in. I can't say much right now, but I'm telling you this is going to be big! Take care everybody!

1-13-05

Wusup everybody.. I'm gonna ignore the fact that it's 2 AM and post this anyways.. I've just finished a nice little remix I thought I'd share with ya'll. It'll probably be included on my "Mixtape Vol.2" which I'm slowly working on, if not it'll just remain an internet exclusive. None the less, it's a nice little treat I thought I'd share with you. Let's take a trip back to the good ole days! The year is 1994, and a member of Leaders of the New School has just released his solo debut, "The Coming". That's right I'm talking about Busta Rhymes (back when he didn't suck). It's now 2005 and I have constructed a nice little dark remix out of his debut single "Woo-Hah!! Got You All In Check"! So head over to the audio section, check it out & enjoy!

1-10-05

What's up good people? Well the new site is finally up. It's not too complex but it gets the job done. Muchos lovebugs to my man over in Amsterico, teh Stalx0r. Anyway's lets get to some fresh flavor!

First of all I'd like urge everybody to go over to www.ZeroSkillz.net (just click that) & check out the new remix by our good buddy Dj Panzah Zandahz.. He's constructed an excellent remix out of the pop hit you love to hate, "Shut Up" by the Black Eyed Peas. Now before you get all huffy, allow Mr. PZ to explain..

"This track started out as an inside joke between my girlfriend and I. It was our one year anniversary (f' off, your just jealous) and somehow that rediculous song entered our lives. One thing led to another and she ended up with this remix as a present, the poor girl. You might call this a remix by DJ "Peas Z," HAHAHAHA. Okay, kill me, please. Oh and please hold your angry e-mails, Im aware that the Peas suck."

Alright, let's get to the point, click HERE to download this amazing song! & show your support and head over to the Zero Skillz (oops I mean Token Recluse & pick up PZ's new mixtape "The Butterfunk Concoction"!

On some more news of some related affilates the good people in L.U.Cipha have just released a full, FREE internet compilation entitled "1134 Productions Compilations Vol.1"! It's 9 brand new tracks with a few remastered remixes & previous internet exclusives all together on one release. The sweet part (& why I'm mentioning it) is that that album features the song "Lost (Slippin' Away)" which yours truly happened to produce. So head on over to Www.LUCipha.coM & enjoy!

Anyway's as for myself.. Hahah, not much since the last time we spoke actually I'm sad to say.. I'm mostly producing now (and I've got some BIG surprises coming in future days) but am still planning on hooking up with Sime Gezus (some day, haha) to finish our Backward Blessing project. Me & Stalkz have finally gotten together to form an impressive production/guitar collaboration called Crushing Big Brother. There's just alot of stuff to look forward to! As a matter of fact check out the AUDIO section for some brand new flavor! Take care friends.
