| I originally purchased This 91' L for $500 off of a car dealer not running. It was in nice shape, had 54,000 miles on it and no rust. The dealer couldn't get it to start. After looking around a bit, I noticed the fusable links had corroded. A quick clean up and she was running. At this point I had a running car that passed inspection. I drove it about 4 months and decided it was time to do some body work. The original hood had a small crease in it. I removed the hood and bought another. A freind of mine rolled his 89' z-24 for the third time which sacrificed it ground effects for this particular vehicle. These are molded directly to the car using flexible epoxy made by Transtar. I have had no problems with them staying on the car. They flex when hit and stay on the car. I had to cut and shorten the middle effects and belive it or not the front went on with only shortening the length of the sides. (I guess the cavalier and festiva are the same width). I also have a 89' that I was considering on just racing. For that car I was thinking of trying a set of ground effects(late 89-93) daytona. could be different. I don't have the rear completed yet, but I did manage to put a wing on the back. I sourced it off of a 91' hyundai excel. not sure if it is going to stay yet. |
