This is my 1996 Ford Aspire. I bought it as a replacement for the Festiva. The previous owner had hit a deer or somthing and pryed the door open with a crowbar or somthing. I have only owned this car for a few months and have already installed a custom bodykit and wing on this car and resprayed it a custom two tone purple and black paint. These are some progress pictures and some finished product pictures as well. If you have any questions, please email me. [email protected]
Stripped ready for assembly.
Cars and prybars DO NOT MIX!!
Assembled and the smoothing process begins!!
This is the rear 'BUDDY CLUB' style bumper that was used for the almost direct swap onto the Aspire.
Here's the bumper on the car. The 'Bumper Arms' had to be shortened so they wouldn't hit the tires and some clearancing along the top lip was required for proper fitment.
Here is the car 'mocked up'. Basically put together to see how it will look. I had the wing sitting around the shop for about ever and finally found somthing to use it on.
BACK
All done. Now I just have to get some wheels to finish off the look. Any suggestions?
This is the front I used. Notice the differences on the top of the bumper from the aspire? It takes some work to fit it.
