| Gregory Crewdson (b.1962, American) is a photographer who focuses his lens on America's Northeastern suburbs. He has taught photography and visual arts at SUNY Purchase, Sarah Lawrence College, Cooper Union, Vassar, and, currently, at Yale. His work can be found in the permanent collections of such local museums as The Brooklyn Mueseum of Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Museum of Modern Art, The Whitney Mueseum of American Art, as well as in museums in Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, and Boston. His artwork can be found on the covers of many CDs (Yo La Tengo) and often in The New York Times Magazine. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
