Notes of Interest:
- The Spirit of Vancouver Island and her sister ship, Spirit of British Columbia are the largest ships in the fleet and the ferries with the most horsepower.
- The only route that the Spirit of Vancouver Island operates on is the Tsawwassen - Swartz Bay (Victoria) route. These are the only two terminals with berths able to accomidate the superferries.

2003 | July 21 - The Spirit of Vancouver Island slammed into her berth at Swartz Bay doing some damage to the ferry and the dock. Four people were slightly hurt, but the ferry returned to service the next day. |
