FOURTH OF JULY!!!
This was the 30th anniversary of Paul's annual 4th of July party in Madison County.  It has changed some since I was a kid -- Gary's house is increasingly bizarre every year, the barn with the Playboy's in it looked too rickety to approach, and the fireworks are far more sophisticated.  (The background image shows the aftermath -- that display is no joke!)  But the company is always good, the volleyball is always competitive, and the pizza is always hot and fresh.
Paul at work at the pizza oven.  The hottest spot at the party.
Bob, Phyllis, Bill, and Betsy (just before she left for Japan!!) . . .
The posse.  (This picture doesn't do the house justice, but trust me -- CRAZY!!)
I don't know who these kids were, but I loved this girl.  She played all day in that outfit, and she could outrun about anyone there. . .
Breakfast and coffee at Liberty St. the next morning             ----------------->>

Fireworks are done. . . . .
Everyone go
