My Village
*Eel River Crossing*
This is the (Arthur Pinet) school; i went there when i was younger. its a really nice school that prides itself on being at the for front of technology as far as schools go, and they are.
The old people home ( Manoir de la Riviere ) is a beautiful place right next to the river (the river is behind it). I myself hope to reside there one day (very far away). It is also located right behind the church, which is a good thing because its residents don't have far to go for bingo.
And this is that church i was talking about. it may seem small on the pic but its huge inside. oh yeah and bingo is held in the basement.
I would like to take the time to tell you that these photos were taken by me. I am not a professional in any way or form and i do the best with what i have at hand. thank you.
This is the general store of My Village. They have pretty much everything you need. And they get a lot of business because of their 10$ bags. Jano (the owner) is a really nice guy, he helps out the community alot (mostly by giving jobs to the younger population) and he is always ready to lend a helping hand. And his staff are kind and helpful, how many small stores do you know that still have a butcher?
This is the village hardware store, and the place i buy all my fishing gear. Here too they live to please. Service is great, no matter if you're buying paint or just fishing hooks they'll help you find what you're looking for.
And finally here is our FireHall/Municipal building, where the mayor and council, and also our brave firefighters hold their meetings or just come to relax. their is also a basement to this building, where hapkido and boxing lessons are given.
We may be just a small village but i have found that the people here are warm hearted. if you ever come by one day, just take a walk down Principal road or on the board walk and in no time you'll notice the charm of our little village.
