Description                                            

After 7 years as a college student group, Warma was founded as a non profit organization in 2002. Currently, it deals with youth issues, such as self-employment to gang problems, in the lower social strata through fieldwork. As a founding member of the NGO Warma, I developed its website and an office in Trujillo.

Description                                            

Financial support and active collaboration with a charity that provides housing for abandoned children. This is a branch in Peru of S.O.S. Kinderdorf International, an organization that pioneered a family approach to the long-term care of orphaned and abandoned children, currently active in 131 countries and territories.

Description                                            

Invited lecturer to the Graduate Unit of the School of Veterinary Medicine, San Marcos National University. The title of my presentation was "Strategies of Multinational Companies in Recessed Markets: The Peruvian Case". The lecture I presented was included in the Master's Program in Agribusiness bibliography.

Description                                            

This fashion show was to introduce new Peruvian designers to the local market, by  combining their clothes with traditional jewelry and from the Trujillo area. My responsibilities included fund raising, coordinating media coverage, runway music production and contacting top Peruvian models (including current Miss Peru Universe) to participate in the show. The show took place during the 44th National Marinera Dance Competition.

Description                                            

Directed weekly workshops advising students on how to develop personal marketing and job market discernment skills, using tools such  as online applications and contact networks. I also organized several public meetings with renowned Zootechnical Engineers, leaders in their fields of expertise. By the end of the year, the members of the School were seriously concerned about unemployed graduates, so it initiated  a database for recruiters.

Description                                            

Warma Group was a student organization for promoting the artistic and academic potential of children in the poorest sectors of Lima. My activities included mentoring a group of children under 10 in the shantytown of Pamplona. Results included significant increases in grades while the number of dropouts decreased and the level of parental involvement increased considerably.
