| Fortaleza was the place we chose to spend Gerson's birthday, in December/2001. It is just 45 minutes flight from our hometown. | |||||||||||||||

| Nature has been particularly generous to Fortaleza. It has 24 kilometers of beach, bright sunshine 117 days a year and temperatures that range from 23 degrees Celsius to 29 degrees Celsius. As if that weren't enough, Fortaleza has lots of entertainment spots (beaches, pubs, restaurants, night clubs, etc.) and local cooking achieves a unique blend by mixing the flavors of the sea, with flavors from the dry lands of the state's interior. | |||||||||||||||

| During the day, the ideal thing to do is visit a beach, famous for its white sands, palm trees with coconuts and the calm gliding motion of the jangadas.
