| Mt. Iwaki is 1,625 meters above sea level and is the highest mountain in Aomori Prefecture. It is called "Tsugaru Fuji" because of its beautiful shape extending from the top to the bottom of the mountain. Mt. Iwaki has been a religious mountain for the people of Tsugaru for a long time. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Mt. Iwaki - Hirosaki - February/2000 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
| In winter, Hirosaki is covered with snow. It is really cold but you can enjoy skiing. Skiing is very interesting and exciting, although we fell down a hundred times. Anyway, it was fun! |
