CANCUN I
Cancun, at the Yucatan Peninsule-Mexico, was our vacation destiny in early December/2002.
No regrets concerning this great place, full of things to see and do.

While in Cancun, we stayed at the booming area south of the island, referred to as the Riviera Maya
Cancun has a main street called Kukulcan Boulevard that bisects the hotel zone with the ocean on one side and the Nitchupe lagoon on the other.
Nature created the setting but after that Cancun was built from the ground up as a tourist destination. This ground-up approach is evident. Cancun is a convenient and relaxing destination and most hotels have all you need to enjoy the beach and the hotels' facilities themselves.

. Along Cancun's hotel strip large hotels line the beautiful white sand and turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. Fortunately, our hotel was just in front of the typical Cancun landscape: blue ocean, white sand and palm trees.

In Cancun, sunning and a full range of watersports occupy the day for most visitors. Cancun's beach is beautiful but the water is not very calm so the hotel pool may be the best bet for swimming and enjoy a "margarita".
Definitely, no regrets about going to Cancun for a few realxing days.
