After almost two days on the road, we finally arrived at the magnificent Gold Coast. It has 35 kilometers of beaches starting from the Queensland border and is, nowadays, Australia's leading tourist destination... and there we were!!! |

"Surfers Paradise" was the place we chose to hang around while there. Why? Because that's the place with the most concentration options of bars, restaurants, entertainment spots and all the things you look for when you are on vacation. It's the "point" for fun in Queensland. |

There's plenty of entertainment on the Gold Coast, form daytime adventure tours and fantastic shopping through to the famous nightclubs of Surfers Paradise. The "spot" has also a great number of theme parks that are a full day each on their own, such as "Dreamworld", "Seaworld", "Wet 'n' wild water park" (we visited and loved it), well worth a visit. Yes!!! We did have fun at the Gold Coast! |
