| I'm 28 years old, and very obes. I was thinking about the weight loss surgery,(wls), for about a year but never gave it realy any serisous thought, untill my doctor brung it up, to help control my dibetis so I went home and talked to my husbond about it and we desided that if the insurance would pay for it I could have it done. I then called Tricare to find out if they would pay for it and what all I needed to do to get it done. About, 2 weeks after looking into getting it done I started all the appiontments, and got all the paper work done. One week after I turned in all the paper work I got a call saying I was approved for surgery and the next week I was schulded to have surgery, I feel realy blessed that I didnt have to wate as long as most people have to, my total wating time was 1 week from my appointment. I had the laperscopic gastricbypass surgery. I had a wonderful doctor, Dr. Anthoney Terricina here in Panama City Beach ,Fl. I would recmond him to anyone. He is a very caring doctor when I started this I was 5'5 and 277pbls,now four months later I have lost 68 pounds and havent had to take any medince for my dibetis since the day after surgery. I feel so great I just want to tell everyone about this. |
