Alternatives to Probate
Your probate may be avoidable, if:
� The total assets owned by the deceased person is $100,000 or less;
� The assets are held in Joint Tenancy;
� The assets are community property and given outright to the surviving spouse;
� The assets are contractual matters such as life insurance or annuities and there are beneficiaries named on those contracts;
� The assets are held in a Revocable Living Trust.
