A PRAYER TO BASTET Oh Great and Glorious Bastet, hear this thy servants plea: Take unto your care and keeping now and for all time- these remains of my one true companion and very much beloved and missed feline. This the earthly remains of a truly great and wondrous feline, so worthy of your help and guidance. This my friend in life and death forever, Pepper, Kustom Cat, Pep, Pooh. Oh Bastet, allow the spirit of Pepper to be free, allow him to fly in the Sunshine and the Moonlight. Allow him to rest on clouds, drink from the deepest clear streams, hurt and claim the wild mouse And bird so he will never know hunger. Watch over him so he will never be in fear. Allow him to go to the Rainbow Bridge, so that he may never be lonely or feel sorrow and allow him to meet me and stay with me when I die. Take him oh great and kind Bastet to set with thee and introduce him to Ra and the others so that they may look kindly on him and show him favor. One last plea oh great Bastet, allow him to know how much he is loved and missed and never will be replaced in my heart.
