  The Situation ~

Alright... this is a little long. I have an aunt by name of Beth. Shes a sweet lady. Yeah- sometimes she does stuff that'll get on our nerves, but she loves us and she's always there ready to go far out of her way to help us out when we need it.

Not long ago Aunt Beth was coming home with her son, Kevin. They saw smoke rising over their neighborhood and wondered what was happening. They assumed probably that it was a neighbor's house, but little did they know the horror they would find.

The wiring in the back wall of her house had degrated. Maybe there were rodents involved that gnawed at the wires... nobody knows. Either way, spark resulted and began to burn from the inside of that wall. By time they came home there were sheets of flame engulfing the back of the house. It was a total loss. This house they've lived in for as long as I remember. There were paper ornaments there that her younger son (who's older than I am) had made in first grade. I'm 21 years old... and she's lived in that house my entire life.

Everything was destroyed. After the fires were put out and what was left of the place given tme to cool, my family banded together, making dangerous exhibitions into the house in an attempt to rescue something... anything really that hadn't been consumed by the flames.

Sadly nearly nothing made it. We just thank god that she'd had a doggy door installed recently, so that the family dog was able to escape the fire. Besides her though, everything's been ruined.

The worst part of all this is that her insurance recently dropped her, leaving her no way to get even compensation for the loss of everything she owned.

  The Solution ~

Now I'm not big on asking for charity and stuff. I've never had anything happen in my life that warrented it. But this time we don't have the money to get her everything she needs. She needs a new home, furnishings, and even simple things like clothing to replace all she lost. I'm not asking for a certain amount, or trying to guilt anyone. But if you have anything you can spare, even if it's under a dollar, we could sure use it to help her get back on her feet. My mom has a paypal account set up, and I'll be placing these buttons in all of the boards I frequent as well as on all of my pages. Please help if you can, or if you have friends who like to donate to a good cause then feel free to steer them here. If there's any disbelief, I'll be going by the house and getting pictures of the wreckage.

Thank you for your help guys. We appreciate it, from the bottoms of our hearts.
