Raven's Knowledge(2000)

Purple-black sky
Like feathers in the dawning moonlyte
Dark Wings Spreading Over the Sleeping Consciousness of the People
Providing a comfort for those who have let slumber
Their minds
Their Hearts
Their Consciences.
Allowing them to commit,
One upon the other,
Grievous acts of Ignorance.
Avarian claws
Rip at the shrouded minds
Trying to awaken
The clarity of Darkness.
The discomfort felt in Waking
Is not unlike that of birth;
You feel helpless,
Abandoned,
And utterly,
Totally,
Alone.

And the Raven-Black sky,
Its purple feathers reflecting the moonlyte,
Speaks to you of Pain
Of the necessity of Loss.
And, as if listening to a trusted friend,
You Understand.
It makes sense.
You are not alone,
As such.
As there is an Unkindness of Ravens,
There is the Murder of Crows.
In a packing of Wolves,
One may find the pride of Lions.
And, in the Icy clutch of Fire Dragons,
You can understand the Solitude of cats.

And the Raven nyte sky,
Its corvid wings soaking in the moonlyte,
Comforts you and tells you
"Sleep now child. But soon...
Soon,
You will wake."
