In 1968 I started my breeding of German Shepherd Dogs with the kennel name Fennican. Later my husband and I began to think of a smaller breed. We saw Swedish Vallhunds at dog shows and became fond of these small dogs which had almost a similar expression as the German Shepherd. In 1986 we saw in Stockholm�s INT Dog Show the top quality male R�dag�rdens Risto. He was splendid. That�s what we wanted. A year later we bought our first puppy, Risto�s daugther Gr�l�tens Jazziga J�nta from Eva Jacobsson in Sweden Soon after J�nta, came Gjallarhornets Katrin (daugther to Skogsbygdens Billy Bus), Elke�s Wasti Vildhonung (daughter to Risto), Tomtemors Caramella Bottedotter (daughter to Billy Bus) and in 1990 the male dog Bodatorp Danne. I was lucky, because all these 5 puppies became very good adults. In 1994 a bitch, Silver Lady van den Zwanensteeg was imported from Holland. They are the base of my breeding. 1989 was the year the first Fennican SV-litter was born. Today ,there are relatives in US to the sisters Amaryllis and Ahkeraliisa , from our first litter. We have exported puppies, to Sweden, France, Holland, Belgium and Slovenia. Many of them have became Champions in their country. Today we have at home 9 adults 3 males + 6 females. FIN Ch Bodatorp Danne is the oldest (soon 10 years), all the others are from our own breeding, according to age:

I�ve not time for anything but conformation showing, but many of my breedings have take part in obedience, agility and rescue. Our breeding has been awarded the: "Zetterstens Challange Cup" 1993,1994,1995. It is the Swedish SV-club�s trophy to The most Winning Breeder in Scandinavian and 1994 "The Vuolasvirta Prize", from the Finnish Kennelclub for merits in high guality breeding. The year 1980 I got this same prize for German Shepherd.
