Drakelings are semi-intelligent draconic creatures generally around one foot in height. They have two blunt claws on each of their four paws and two small wings utilized in short flights. They come in a variety of colors, including red, black, green, purple, and blue, usually accented by a yellow plated belly, spiky crest, and tasseled tail. Rampant genetic mutations may produce hundreds of other traits, including horns, multiple heads or tails, and different markings and colors. Drakelings are highly adaptable little buggers and can happily survive in anywhere from deserts to beaches, although their preferred habitat is the foothills of mountains. Being omnivorous as well, they enjoy eating anything offered, including berries, small fish, table scraps, etc. It may be noted that they are friendly, if rather flighty and shy, and love the company of other creatures.
