In the above sentences did you learn anything really important or interesting about me? Probably not. The name isn�t original, I�ve gotten mail from Chris Novak in Hamilton, there are about 16 other 14 year old males just in this class alone, a lot of people like the same stuff as me, and who wouldn�t call themselves smart or friendly? No, none of that stuff would make a great essay. A VERY wise teacher once said that a good way to learn about yourself is to describe what you don�t like rather than what you do. Good idea! I�ll do that.
I don�t know a better way to start an essay on what I don�t like then on hip-hop. Hip-hop�s been around for years now. It is a unique combination of rap and crap. I don�t mind rap and I don�t mind crap (it�s a perfectly normal human function) but when you mix them up� it�s not pretty. We are bombarded with hordes of black people speaking rhythmically, and almost equally large hordes of white people pretending to be black every day. We are constantly hearing words like, �yo,� �homie,� and �schizzle my nizzle.� Come on already. Its not horrible music and I don�t hate all of it, but it�s getting really annoying.
Everyone has their unique likes and dislikes when it comes to food. Its bizarre how it all works. Some people hate milk, some people don�t like meat, some people don�t even like chocolate! Its crazy. As weird as it is I have to admit I�m the same way. I too have weird little things I can�t eat. For example, tomatoes. I can�t stand them. I like ketchup, I like tomato sauce, but I can�t eat a raw tomato. Its weird. It�s the same with cheese. I can eat pizza, cheesies, Doritos, cheese on nachos, but when it comes to a eating a block of cheese I gag. It�s kind of funny when I think about it. We are a quirky race.

So starts one of the greatest movies I�ve seen in a while. The United States is a very aggressive country. They always have been. From the time they landed at Plymouth rock, they�ve slaughtered a race of Natives, conquered a good third of the continent, killed off the Loyalists in a big rebellion, had another war about slaves, invaded about 30 countries that didn�t really need more weapons and have given Osama bin Laden military training. The most ironic thing is that they were one the last countries involved in World War 2. You�d think they�d have a field day with that. I know they have done a lot of good. Like my friend Gordie said, �If we didn�t have the USA next door Fiji could come and take us over with spoons.� We�ve got to thank them for that. They�ve done a lot of good but there are a lot of men dead thanks to them.
So I think you�ve learned a bit more about me now. I hope my personality shows through this essay, if it didn�t I�m sorry. I�m also sorry if I�ve offended anyone. So who am I? I�m Chris Novak.
