Have you ever been so cold that every time you inhale little snotsicles start dangling from your nose hairs? Or I could just ask if you've been to Calgary. Calgary may just be the coldest city west of the meridian, our only real competition is Inuvik, and really who lives there but a few polar bears and the odd misplaced penguin. Last month may have been the coldest January we've ever seen. The driving wind seemed to blow straight through our walls, and more than a few Calgary families found themselves contemplating moving to Inuvik to find relief from the cold. However, the brave Calgarians turned a blind eye to the record-breaking cold, mostly because our eyelashes had frozen together.
