| ... I bought a lavender soap and discovered on the back ... |
|
I bought a lavender soap produced in the Provence,
"Senteurs Provencales", pas cher, 1 e 96 only. Square, handy,
and regularly shaped, it is wrapped in a nice brown paper.
I liked the weighty smooth touch holding within my hand, and when
goes closer, it smells such a lovely and clean fragrance that enters
one's heart and brain. There are introductions on the back,
in three languages; I turned it over, and was surprised to see
in my eyes the following lines:
|
|
"Senteurs Provencales ...
You, the best of Provence, the land of aromas, nature and traditions. Their delicate perfum will subtly enhance your daily beauty routine. " |
|
I was REALLY shocked, and fascinated, by the first four lines.
-- So poetic! as one has to admit it a miracle, to find such
*beautiful sentences appearing on the back of such a *cheap
(but nice) --soap!!
It gave me a gentle feeling, as if I saw the sunny, South of France, where stretching grounds are covered with endless lavenders. Smell of countryside, breeze of wind, buzz of bees ... ; every petal shines and dances on the orchid land, and those hundreds of miles are all like this... -- "The land of aromas", it says! That was really a fantasy, brought me back into the fading books I've ever read: you see some girls, surrounded in that dreamingly and enchanting old days... -- lavenders ... Not there any more were the memories in the armoire of hers, but tonight I am again brought into those sweet old dream and vivid joy... -- Thanks, thanks. ... ... After a while, I read it again and found myself having ignored one english word in the very first line (which I'd thought as part of the name of the soap), and it, all right, should ORIGINALLY be: |
|
"Senteurs Provencales offers
you the best of Provence, the land of aromas, nature and traditions. ... ..." |
