Chinese paper cuts originated from the Han Dynasty (206 B.C. - 220), and got promoted during Nan-Bei Times (420 - 589), with the real prosperity coming after middle of Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1911). Ancient paper cuts were mostly produced in countryside, by old peasant women with their scissors, and owned a natural beauty.
