It doesn't get much better than this, just ask Boyd Tinsley. I usually rock out on a Zeta Jazz-series four string electric violin. For some funky effects and voices, I play through Zeta's Synthony II midi processor. I also get out on a Barcus Berry Blueburst electric/acoustic that sounds pretty. For some raunchy fun, I'll plug the Zeta through an MXR distortion pedal. It gives a really crunchy, powerful sound.
Since I usually play through our PA, I run through two Whirlwind direct boxes to smooth out the signal. |
