Aninha Lobo started playing the piano at the early age of 3. She is a Fellow of the Trinity College of Music, London, (F.T.C.L.) and was awarded the exhibition award by the Trinity College of Music, London, on standing first in Mumbai at the Grade 8 examination and �THE BHIKHAIJI LIMJIBHOY PALAMKOTE AWARD� on obtaining the F.T.C.L. She has a doctorate in Psychology, and is currently Head, Department of Psychology, Sophia College.

Music arranger and director of the Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber musical �Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat� and �Timecheck� � an adaptation of Dave Clarke�s �Time� staged in Mumbai; Aninha has also written original music for �Charlie and the Chocolate Factory� and has recorded for several films, stage musicals and commercials.
Aninha's repertoire spans a wide gamut of styles. She has performed in Mumbai, Calcutta, Delhi with �Louis Banks and the Hoods�; played at the Heineken Jazz Festival, (Bahrain, 1996); at the Jazz Yatra  (Mumbai, 1996) with Karl Peters & Ranjit Barot; at Mood Indigo (1997) with Karl Peters, at �The Great Music Revival� (Goa, 1999), with Pam Crain & Don Saigal; for the "Tata Legends Thank You Bob" concert (24th May, 2001, Rang Bhavan, Mumbai), at the Jazz Yatra - International (Mumbai, 2002) with Jazzy Joe, and Concert in the Park with Jazzy Joe and the Jazz Junction (24th April, 2004 Panaji, Goa). 
She has performed with Karl Peters at Not Just Jazz by the Bay, Mumbai; Pam Crain & Don Saigal � Jazz - n - Soul Stomppin' " and chamber music with �The Melody Trio� at the Taj Mahal Hotel, Mumbai, and with �Jazzy Joe� Pereira, Braz Gonsalves, D. Wood, and Bondo.
