February 22nd 2005
I have to say I have been so exhausted lately. I am worn out and tired. I really miss going to church and I miss having all of the close friends I used to. All of my girlfriends are always busy... Completely busy! (just a warning to all of you who hate reading complaints thats all I am writing today) I miss having a girl friend to giggle with or be goofy- whatever. I love having Chris to talk to but it's really not the same.
I miss Karen, and Tracy, Morgan and Nicole and things will never be the way they were before; everyone has changed to much- we all have different interests and things that keep us from hanging out. When all of your good firends change so much that you can't make everythign go back to the way it was you get SO lonely. That's how I feel all the time: Lonely. At school it's weird because I see people that I know all the time; but I really just need to connect with someone and have a conversation that isn't all small talk. I miss having people over all the time, or getting calls from the girls just to chat or see what everyone is doing over the weekend. Everyone seems SO DISTANT. I wish I didn't have to go to school full time- I miss leadership, arranging the files at youth group and hanging out on Wend. before SIgn class with Morgan, Nicole and Chris.  I'm done. I have work and then class so I'm out.
Have a good week to anyone  (or no one LoL) who reads this.

Alright So here I am again this time writing from my home. I am really tired, Last night my bible study group went over to Shondra and Jason's house. We talked about random things and I am pretty sure everyone had a good time. At least I think they did. I left my toothbrush and toothpaste at their house though so I am gonna have to go get it later.  I have to write an outline for my speech and debate tournament but I really don't know what I am gonna write. I want it to be perfect, but It is going to be a ten minute long speech and I have to memorize it! I think that's going to be pretty hard. I have been driving a lot lately. I have only been allowed to drive for 5 days and I've driven to and from the church three time, all the way to Rio vista and various other places. Driving manuel is not as hard as I thought it was going to be. Not that I am good at it, because I'm not BUT I thought it was going to take longer to figure it out and it really didn't take very long, of course I do stall once in a while, but not that often. Anyways, I don't have much more to say so... chow.
Angie

OKay okay... I get it. I'll update. (and there realyl is no reason for this "site" because ya'll are right we really don't update at all. *joins the bandwagon and makes an excuse* but I have been so busy. I got out of Summer school 2 weeks ago, went to Mexico came back, had a week off and now I am once again sitting in the computer lab at the college working on some more homework. And it has been FOREVER! I guess I'll start with how all of my classes ended. English 1 I did really well:  A- (WooooHooo) that was my hardest class as far as work load goes and I spent the most time on that, Sign Lnaguage I got an A but only because I had done sign language before, the only other girl who got an A in that class was FLUENT in "See Sign". But it was a little hard on the last week because there was a lot to do. Swing Dance was good. I had a lot of fun in that class and I'm really glad that I took it. Finally Math... Well I passed by the skin of my teeth (I can't believe I just used that expression, it's so dumb) And I am kind of surprised that I did. So after school was finished I went to Mexico with the youth group! Pretty awesome stuff. I had a great time but I was sick the whole time. I had a fever for a few days and I lost my voice (I had the coolest laugh ever... Just kidding... but it was funny.) I was dizzy or felt like throwing up the rest of the time... but really that was the only bummer for the whole trip. When I came back I had some work done on my teeth (sheeshers it was gross) and then I got my Senior pictures taken by a lady in our church. We had to say bye to Kyle the other day because he was off to boot camp. (thats crazy, It's strange when people you have grown up with start to leave. ) Wait there's more. I got my permit the other day and now I am driving. I drove my dad to the church and back yesturday in the manuel. I don't like it. I hate driving. You all should have been there for my first behind the wheel training, the lady was really mean. When she dropped me off her and my parents started talking and somehow they got around to what you should do when you are driving and lights and sirens are behind you. (for those of you who don't know :-D pull to the right ALWAYS) Well she didn't know you were supposed to do that. She kept saying ... well sometimes you pull to the left. (yeah, if you want to get in an accident or recieve a 6 hundred dollar ticket from a police officer) Err she was annoying. Moving a long. So here I am at school again. I dropped two classes this week. So now all I have is Math, Debate and competitive speech. (my first tournament is October 1-3 WoooHooo) And highschool starts on the 7th So thats about it. I know there is an extreme lack of detail but *makes another excuse* I don't have time to be long winded!...

ello All!!!
How is everyones vacation?! IMines well...interesting...not really.  It's been what? three months?! Shame on me!! *slaps hand* Well, I'm a working woman now! Yep, Chick-Fil-A!!! It's pretty cool. I thought fast food was going to be totally revulting, but it's not bad at all.  I'm trying to get to know all of co-workers, but I think everyone thinks I'm some retarded midget blonde girl...actually, the might not be to off.  I was hoping to go to Mexico this year, but it looks like it might not be God's will to go this year.  I was feeling greatly...not convicted...but, I guess burdened to go.  Foreign Missions has been something that I've been called to do.  I don't doubt that.  Every where I've turned lately something about relief camps or setting up churches in third world countries has popped up.  It's an awesome feeling.  I can't wait for school to start!!!!!!  I'm tried of vacation!!!  I want this next year to be over!! *get's all crazy* Graduation is soo close...I can almost taste it! I really want to apologize to ANgie for not keeping up with my half of our blog. Sorry, Angie!!! I love you, girl!! I miss you!!! Well, I'm expecting a call from my beau.  Speaking of which, I promised I would mention him.  Jayson!! I love you!!!! You are the most incredible gift God has given me!! Mck! YOu guys will be hearing from me soon! Or else I give you permission to send me threatening letters!! Bye!!!!! Tchus!!! Adieu!!! Sianara!!

Hey
How are all of you? I was off of school today because of the 4th so I just wanted to tell you what happened and how my day was yesterday, and update you on school.
English 1 is really hard. I knew it was going to be challenging but it definitely went beyond my expectations. Its pretty scary when the first thing your teacher says is, If your not willing to give your weekends, your holidays and all of you free time to me, then I would suggest you leave right now. That was her opening line. Im glad though. She expects more out of me than any other teacher ever has. I received the lowest grade Ive gotten in English in 4 years. A, b- on my first essay, Im not sure if I was surprised or not. It was one of the highest grades in the class but I was really hoping I would do better. (Ill post my essay along with her comments when school ends.) So anyways moving onto how Independence Day went. The day started out really well at church. Morgan wasnt there so that was a bummer, she left me all 4 of the songs to sign, but I actually did really well and I almost did perfect on the prayer. After music I had to go work in the nursery, and I had a great time there. The kids are so adorable and everyone was pretty well behaved, we had very few problems. After church we had people over to swim and barbeque. Tracy and I hung out for the first time in a very long time. Later our families (Tracys and mine) went to the Marina in our town and watched fireworks. I met up with Chris there; his family was working a booth. The fireworks were really beautiful. Afterwards while we were walking to our car Tracys sister got a call from her fianc telling us that someone was shot in the marina. Thats pretty freaky; you never know what can happen. Im just glad that my dad wasnt patrolling the area. Is that wrong? I mean I want everyone to be safe and I wish that my dad had been with us instead of having to patrol a town 40 minutes away. But at the same time Im glad that he didnt have to be in a situation like that, even though he has before. So thats about it. I noticed that my narrations of events are extremely boring. This narrative is just like a log or list of the things I did yesterday. Theres no substance. Maybe all of my creative juices have been used up in school this month. Well dont expect anything in a next few weeks because things are about to get even more busy.
Angela

Morgan, Where are you? *searches frantically* . *proclaims to audience* folks I think we lost her this time. *tears*:- D

June 25th 2004
Alright here the deal: For the next 5 weeks Im not going to write. I have way too much homework and way too little time. I got into all of my classes. Math is no big deal, I mean its not that hard and we dont have any homework that we have to do. We do have a quiz every Tuesday and a test every Thursday. My teacher is really different; she says the word cute once in almost every sentence, (cute number?) at least shes nice though. Sign language is going to be very easy I have a lot of homework in it but the actual signing is not very hard because its really very basic, and Ive been signing for a bit so its not hard but time consuming. English 1 Hmmm. My teacher is one of the strangest people Ive ever met. She is in her 50s No kids, no husband (which means she can spend a ton of time on each of our papers) she has a bunch of cats, a nose ring and a tattoo which we know about because she said something about it on the first day of class when she was asked, but she wont tell us where it is. (Not that I would want to know anyway because it obviously wasnt visible) and when she was in high school she was kicked out because she organized a student walk out. I think shes crazy too; I had so much homework this last week. Heres a brief overview:
- Reading selections: Short stories by Hemingway, Hughes, Cofer, and White.
- Literature brief reading: critical thinking, Reading and writing Pages 69-83, Reading and Writing about literature Page 513-518, The writing situation pages 2-10 and invention pages 10-18, Revising and editing pages 30-46, Thesis and organization pages 18-26, and Drafting pages 27-30
- Writing assignments: Analysis of all short stories and taking notes, Diagnostic essay, diagnostic test, narrative analysis workshop and Draft 1 of Narrative analysis.
On Monday the final draft of our essay is due But can you believe all of that stuff was for 4 days in ONE class!?!?!? My question is how does she keep up with all the stuff she has to grade?
So anyways thats all thats happened during my week. When my dad takes out the card in the camera and we load all of the pictures Ill post some but I think thats all I am going to do in the next 5 weeks. Morgan however, does not have school and I think I am going to ask two or three people I know to b-log once a week or something. If I can't and Morgan can't than I'll just close it down until I can get back on or Morgan can.
Oh yeah I am probably going to see a movie with Chris tomorrow! Yay well talk to you all later.
Angie

June 19th 2004
Hey,
How has everyone been? I had a good week. I was at Kickback, which is a camping trip that my youth group goes on. We did a lot of stuff, but I am really, really tired. I went tubing on the American River 3 or 4 times, which is a lot especially when its almost 100 degrees outside and the sun is reflecting off the water. Whew! It was fun though. Yesterday I went whitewater rafting and it was so scary, even so, I wish I could do it again. Nothing else really happened, a friend of mine got baptized, which is cool, but thats about it. Im starting my American government homework right now. Its kind of interesting but all Im doing at this point in the chapter is the definitions, which is the boring part.
Nicole had a birthday this week *sings* happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday to Nicky happy birthday to you *finishes and applause begins all around.* 17! Wow that seems like such a big number! I remember when I was younger thinking about what it would be like to be 16 and 17 years old and now it seems like everything went by SO fast!
Tomorrow I have church, obviously, and all the youth that went to Kickback are wearing their shirts. They were kind of cool this year, except for the pictures that were on them and the phrase, it says varsity tug squad but I like the baseball shirt thing. Ill take a picture of it, and I am going to take my camera so I can take pictures of all the people who went to Kickback, in their shirts.
Well Im going to go because I would like to get a chapter done in government and go to bed early. See some of you tomorrow, every one else, have a good week.
Angie
Oh ywah, has anyone seen Morgan? I seemed to have misplaced her. ;-)

June 8th 2004
Well tomorrow is the last day I have to go to school and turn in homework. I'm almost done with my paper on the Grapes of Wrath, but I still have to finish the end and then insert pictures and the chart I made. Tomorrow is also the last day I get to go to music for 7 weeks, and the instead of the last day of sign language (at church) we are going to eat a dinner at Wade and Karen's home. That'll be fun :-D.
Next week is Kickback! I've never been before but I have heard that it's really a lot of fun. I don't know who I am sharing a tent wiht yet or if I'll just take my own. Not sure yet. That's June 14th-19th and then two days later my classes start! I'm kind of nervous this semester because I did well last semester but my classes are harader and there's more of them. I also heard that summer classes are harder because everything is more "compacted" so I hope it's not too bad, but I bet I'll be spending all 6 weeks at my computer. It'll be nice when it's over. And then all i will have is sign language for 2 more weeks! I think that class is going to be fun and I don't think it will be nearly as hard as my other ones because I've already done Sign for about a year. Hmm there isn't really much for me to write now. Well actually I just finished The Firebrand (good book, kind of interesting though) and I finished the Grapes of Wrath (it's pretty good, or at least I liked it) I think I am going to try to put some pictures up today and get some things changed around. So I'll drop in later. have a nice day.

June 3rd 2004
Hey guys,
About a week ago I went to the bookstore with my mom. I decided to get some books to replenish my collection, which right now is all books that have been read a hundred times over. (Well almost, I still havent read Lord of the Rings):
So here is a list of the books I bought:
The Firebrand
The Iliad
The Odyssey
Madame Bovary
The Scarlet Letter- I read that this year in school and it was one of my favorites
The Count of Monte Cristo
Nice list of books huh? I am going to read a lot this summer. Im really glad. I havent been able to do a lot of reading for a long time. Right now Im finishing up The Grapes of Wrath for school. (I really like that book) I watched the movie the other day. I really liked it; I think black and white films are so cool. So hmm thats about it on whats up here. There is a fly that is driving me CRAZY right now. It keeps landing on me and buzzing around the desk and stuff.
Anyways, hey does anyone here like Third Day. They have a new CD out, Wire. Its really awesome. I was listening to it all day yesterday and Im still listening to it. I saw them in a concert about 3 or 4 weeks ago. They were so awesome.
Hmm what else? Oh Yeah has anyone seen Troy? What a great movie, and Im not even a fan of Brad Pitt. Okay this is getting boring so I am going to go. I have to go take my English proficiency exam at the college in a few minutes anyways. Have a great day.
Angie
Oh yeah! MY mom bought "Pirates" @ Costco the other day for 13 dollars!!!!!

May 29th 2004
Hey again! Isnt it amazing how suddenly Morgan and I are blogging more? Well I know that its been a little easier for me lately because Im done with my classes at the college, and all of my history, and World Geography! Wooohoo that feels good because all I have left is English (read the Grapes of Wrath and watch the movie, write a four page comparison page on the two and a one page summary on each.) and Medical Science which Ill be done in a couple of hours after I get started! Oh yeah I took my Speech final and now I have the highest rank in the class! This summer I am taking a lot of classes there: Heres my schedule it could possibly change a little bit though.
English 1: MTWTH 8-10:15- 6 WK class
Algebra part1: MTWTH 10:30-12:30 6 WK class
American Sign Language 1: TTH 6:15-9:30 (pm) 8WK class
Beginning Swing Dance: MW 6:30-9:30 (pm) 6WK class
Pretty busy summer! Unfortunately I am going to have to miss youth group for 8 weeks! ? Thats a bummer, but it will make it so that I can graduate early and get high school done and over with. Not that high school is bad but I am getting really bored with my homework. It seems easier all the time!
My teacher gave me all of my homework for fall semester and the books (American government, economics and Auto mechanics 1) so I can complete all of my HS work and just focus on college. Because heres my schedule or at least class list:
Math 108- My last required class for graduation!
Debate 1
Sign language 2
Speech and debate team
I think that will make me a full time student (12 units) if not then I can always add one more class because I wont have any others except one more at my high school. So that was probably boring for everyone, BUT right now I really dont have much else happening so there isnt much to talk about right now. Hmmm Im bored So whats up with everyone? No one really signs the guestbook anymore or replies to anything Morgan and I write except a few people every once and a while. Except really for a strange person by the name of TOOKIECLOTHESPIN who only seems to respond around the same time Morgan writes. ;) Well got to go do some chores. Much love everyone
Angie

Hey y'all!! HOw long has  it been? A month?  WHat's happened since?  Well, we went to prom!  It was soooo awesome!!!! Everyone looked soo great! Especially Miss Beutiful <see up above> in the black and blue dress.  THe music had alot to be desired, but the company was great!  I took my English AP exam at the beggining of the month...yeah that was a waste of eighty bucks.  I think I did ok on the essay parts, but the rhetoric section was not up to par.  Cei le Vie! Anyway! I saw Troy on Friday night with me mum! That was totally awesome!  I realized that  Brad Pitt isn't that great of an actor, but who cares!  Look at him!! :D Plus, Orlando BLoom, Eric Bana, and vocals of Josh Groban.  That's the makings of a great movie if you ask me!  Oh yeah, the fight scenes were of epic portion, great storyline...blah blah blah...Brad Pitt !!! Orlando Bloom!! Eric Bana!!! :D Yesterday I had a fun-filled day at the mall with tyson (the five year -old I live with).  WE went to see Shrek 2.  I was soo cute!! I would even dare to say it was better than the first! We came in late to the movie and the whole theater was packed!! There was one seat in the front row next to the stairway. SO, I put tyson in seat and sat on the steps and the man seating next to tysonpicked up his daughter (who was eating next to tyson) and set her on his lap So, I could sit on a seat next to Tyson.  Come to find out he was deaf! It was really cool I got to talk to him  for a llil bit before the movie.  Today, Angela wasn't at church so Chris and I had to pick up the slack on interpreting.  I did "Better than Life" (a.k.a. Angela's song) and scrwed it up royally:( But Amanda was there to cheer me on so, it was all good.  After church I went with Amanda and her mom and brother to go shoppping. I miss hanging out with her family.  Zach (her little brother) has grown up sooo much! I remember when he was  little and we used to toss him around and threaten to kiss him when he'd annoy us, but now he's as tall as I am (which isn't saying too much) and totally digs girls. It was total shock. I'm beginng to realize how old I am... Well, it was alot of fun! And very tiring.  So with that, I bid you all adieu!  Oh, just three weeks left until summer vacation!  I can't believe it!! I'm going to be a senior!!!!!
CHEERS,
Morgan

003<-- is it really?! I've been living a year ahead!!!! :-P!
SHEESH! two days in a row. Man I have a lot to write even though I just updated. First of all my pictures aren't linking, I wrote Yahoo and they said their link thing is currenlt disabled, but I don't think thats exactly right because I just updated a link and it worked perfectly fine. Oh well. Another thing, I'm updating on a laptop that has DSL and it's wonderful, it only took the pagebuilder 3 seconds to load! I counted, because normally it takes me at least two minutes! Anyways, I'm babysitting right now, I got here yesturday at about 5 pm and I'm staying here until at least 5 tomorrow. the little girl I am watching is so cute! Her sister and I are setting up a BEAR DAY for her tomorrow. Let me explain. Today I took the little girl to the park here in Walnut Creek! SO NICE down here. Anyways we walked to the store thats around the corner and turned in some books at the librbary. While I was pushing the stroller back home and the little girl (we'll call her M from now on) was walking next to me. I had this great idea to have a picnic in the park tomorrow. Then I thought she could bring her teddy bear and we could read books about bears while we were there. I told her sister (whos twelve) and asked if she wanted to do it with me and she said yes, annd came up with all of these really great ideas too. So tomorrow we are going to wake up, walk to the park trail sit under this huge oak tree and read Brown Bear, brown Bear. Then we are going to continue on to the park where we are going to have our bear picnic and read another bear story. After she plays in the park for a bit we are going to walk to a water fountain that they have at their outdoor mall and throw coins (wiht the bears) into the fountain to make a wish. Afterwards we are all going to go shopping and then come home so M can hibernate (AKA nap). Yeah I know I'm a dork but she'll love it. her sister and I even made bear cookies to eat at the picnic tomorrow and a photo album so that we can take pictures and then put them in the album for her. I figured if I was getting paid to babysit might as well have fun and make M happy in the process. (especially since its for almost 3 days and I need something to make it pass by quickly.
I watched Tuck Everlasting here today. Last time I watched it was in the theater with Karen, Michelle, and Tracy. Those were some GOOD TIMES! I love that movie, it's so cute. I don't even care that its childish or anything, I almost wish I could stay young longer so I can continue to enjoy these things. I kind of miss when I was little and so excited about Santa coming or the tooth fairy, and I thought that all the Disney princesses were real. Hmm those were the days. Yesturday I watched the Peter Pan movie that just came out. peter Pan is one of my favorite Disney movies but I thought that this was kind of a weird version. Oh well. I still have to let it set in because its not one of those movies that i automaticaly thought "ohhh I love this movie" it was more like "hmm that was differnt". Well anyways I better go. I want to clean up and get to bed. anyone have an idea for a layout? I'm blank.
Sorry for writing all over the place, I had such a mix of thoughts all at once. LoL.

Hey Guys,
WOW I am finally writing. Hey has anyone seen Morgan? Shes been missing from here (AND YOUTH GROUP) for a while. *TSK TSK* Morgie. Anyways, I am finished at the college except for my speech final which I dont have to take (but it can only help me, cant hurt me so why not)  I took my pilates and kickboxing finals yesterday. I got 100 percent on my Pilates final and I dont know how I did on kickboxing But heres what I know about all of my grades so far.
Pilates- A class rank 1/42 heck yeah, of course I had less absences than anyone too!
In fact when I was at my final yesterday I saw people from the beginning of the semester, I thought they had dropped! But no, they just didnt want to come into a class that starts at 8!
Speech1- Woohoo I did REALLY WELL in this class and I am so excited because I worked so hard. I got an A and my class rank was 2/27.
Kickboxing, No Idea, but I dont think I got an A in this class for some reason, maybe I did but I really think my teacher doesnt like me. Shes really rude I have two stories for you:
Story #1: At the beginning of the semester (about 3 weeks into it) my mom was gone in Washington because my great grandfather had died, and my dad was working A shift. He leaves the house at five AM and gets home at around 2:30PM. For those of you who dont know me, I dont drive yet. I have braces and my orthodontist lives in San Francisco so he is only in my town 2 days a week. Monday all day and Thursday until one o clock, two of my brackets had come off. One of them was in a place that I was worried might pull the others off when I ate and one of them came off where the wire was jabbing into me so much that the back of my mouth kept bleeding. The Ortho had been closed that Monday because it was a holiday so I had to schedule an appointment for 12:50 on Thursday to get it replaced. My kickboxing class ends at 12:30 and I asked Tracys grandma to take me (my dad was @ work). So that day I went up to my teacher and here was our conversation. (T= teacher M= me ( ) = my thoughts)
M: Hi, Mrs. Cain, I was wondering if I could leave class a little early today
T: *looks annoyed and frustrated as if I were taking up time that she needed* (she was just chatting with a student and I had waited my turn) Why could you possibly have to leave class early?
M: I have an orthodontist appointment and if I dont go than I cant get in until Monday
T: Well I guess youll just have to wait till Monday (how come?) *she must have changed her mind or something because than she said* How early were you thinking about leaving?
M: Just about 5-10 minutes, I just need a little more driving time.
T: thats fine today but dont let it happen again, unless someones dying you shouldnt leave my class (eeeerrrrrrr) You are at college and you are considered an adult here, dont waste my time by pretending to be interested in a class thats only worth credits to you. (Where does she get off telling me that Im only in the class for the credits? I mean all semester I had the lowest amount of absences in the class, thats 1, when I had the flu!)
Oh yeah and another thing, dont let it happen again, Im busy, I dont have time for it.
M: thank you
Sheesh I think she could have been a little nicer about it. Especially since I wasnt rude to her or anything!
Story #2: It was with in a couple of weeks of the last one so my mom was still away and my dad was still working. I had arranged for a lady from my church to pick me up at school. She had forgotten one day so I thought I would try to call her or my dad. I had given another person some change earlier for a payphone so I had no money, and the cell phone I had with me died. So I went to a couple of my teachers offices both my speech teacher and Pilates teacher were not in so I went to Cains.
Heres the conversation
I walk up to the door and its open; shes sitting there looking at pictures on her computer.
M: Excuse me, Mrs. Cain
T: what?
M:  hi, I was wondering if I could use your phone for a minute *explains situation*
T: No, (hi to you too) what is it with you and responsibility? I already told you, you are an adult here and you need to learn how to solve your own problems and stop relying on your parents and your teachers to get you out of everything. (Its not even like she says any of this stuff politely, shes a total snob about it)
(Well excuse me, I wont ask you anything any more because you obviously are never in a problem and you are way to perfect to ask any other human being to even help. Even when it just consists of letting me use a phone for 20 seconds! Thats it.
