Born to Melynn and James Schneider on August 11, 1999, SEAN MICHAEL weighing
in at 8 pounds 6 and 1/2 ounces. Grandparents-- Jerome and Mary Schneider, Great Grandparents--Jack and Franny
When Melynn realized she was pregnant, she was delighted and so was James.
She went to the Doctor when she was about five weeks pregnant. An ultra sound
was suggested.
The doctor then informed her that she was going to have a baby with either
Down’s syndrome or Turrete’s syndrome. The Doctor suggested a termination.
Melynn told the doctor that termination was not an option. She was sent to a
specialist. He said it is a little early to tell. The parents both told him that
whatever was wrong, it was their baby and they would take care of it.
Of course they prayed that all was well. The next ultra sound
showed that there was not anything apparently wrong with the
baby.
On August 11, they had a beautiful baby boy. He was perfect.
They were ready to accept whatever God sent them, but they feel
very blessed with this beautiful child.
Another situation arose in our family a number of years ago. The people
involved were living together, and were surprised when the woman became
pregnant. They had decided abortion was the answer but when she went to her
physician, he told her she was past the first trimester, and it was too
dangerous. They were married and had the child a lovely little boy. He has grown
to a fine young man. He has been very active in pro-life circles and has been
especially active in trying to influence people who are in the political
forefront to champion right to life.
How thankful we are that he was born, and his parents have a completely
different viewpoint of the horror of abortion, and have become proponents
against it.
On September 16 at 10:45 a new little angel joined our family. Her
mother is Judy (professional name Judy Brown)and her father is Mark Schneider.
Jack and Franny are the paternal grandparents and the maternal grandparents are
Bob and Rita Brown. This beautiful baby joins Sam, 5, Madeline, 4, and Katie who
is 2 and 1/2. We are all in love with her. Her name is Alexandra Nicole, and she
weighed in at 8 Lb. 4 Oz. She has already made her television debut, as her
mother is a news reporter on one of the local TV stations and she appeared with
the rest of her family on the nightly news cast the day after her
birth.
We were blessed with a Christmas Baby born on Christmas Eve.
We are happy to greet our new great grand daughter. She was born to Lisa and
Jansen and joins an older sister Mariah plus two brothers, Simeon and Gabriel.
She weighed in at nine pounds
six ounces, and both she and Mama are doing very well. Lisa's father is our
son Peter. He and his wife Stephanie are thrilled over the new girl in their
family.
Born on March 15 to Dan and Ellen Schneider Koss a new baby girl. She joins her sister Christine who will be two in April.
She looks like her grandma Brenda, who couldn't be more pleased. Grandpa Paul is already in love with her. She weighed
in at seven pounds, six ounces. Welcome to the family Abigail.
What a lovely name you have.
This is the fifteenth great-grand child for Franny and Jack. Those family gatherings keep getting bigger.
Born on June 16 to James William and Melyn Schneider, a new baby girl. She is a sister to Taylor and to Sean. Taylor is six and Sean is almost two. Grandparents are Jerome and Mary who are enjoying four grandchildren. We are all so happy you are here Madison--you were a big girl 9 lb., 6 oz. I think of you as my Birthday Present even if you arrived a day before. Have a good life.
Another little girl, Georgia Bliss Manuel born on September 6 to Sara(Peter's
daughter) and her husband Miaciah Manuel. She is so beautiful and at two weeks she was smiling at Grandma Franny. Looks just like Mama did. The grandparents are Peter and Stephanie and she has lots of cousins and uncles and aunts. These children all have such an extended family with so many Great Uncles and Aunts and first and second and even third cousins, that they will
never have to face the world alone unless they want to.
May God bless you and keep you Georgia. You are much loved.
Born on the 22 of September, a new baby boy--Noble James, weighing in at
7 lb. 2 ounces. The parents are Curt and Christie and the grandparents are
David and Lori. They are very thrilled and love being grandparents. What a
bevy of little ones we have. It is such a wonderful thing when we have a
picnic in the park which is just two doors from us and have the family take
over the whole park with so many little ones and babies. They have a good
time together, and because there are so many little girls, the boy cousins
will be thrilled to finally have another boy to add to their group. Pamela
and Kevin, and especially Daniel are so very happy to have a nephew. Daniel is only eleven, so he is enjoying the baby immensely.
