Graphing

The graphing method is a little more complex, but wit these instructions to follow you van do it.

x + y = -4

3x-y = 0

Put the two equations into slope intersept form.

(y = mx + b)

y = -x -4

y = 3x

Substitute x from sides to get y alone. Second problem divides by -1 to get x and y positive.

Now just simply use your graphing calculator to find the intersection of the two lines.

You can use the 2nd graph on the calculator to show you the table of all the points.
