Graphing with a calculator is an easy way to solve almost any system. It is easily done with any graphing calculator such as a Texas Instruments Ti-83. For this page we will assume this is the calculator you are using. This method is extremely easy when the two equations are already in y- intercept form. However if it is not it is still a very good method to use. All you have to do is isolate y on one side, and it is a good thing that the calculator does not care how "ugly" it turns out. With correct use of parentheses, it is very easy.
