EXERCISES
        Word Problems, Linear Combination,
                and Sustitution Method's.

Use the substitution method to solve these systems.

1.5m + n = 8              2. 4x + y = 1         3. 4x +12y = 4
  3m - 4n = 14               x - 2y = 16            5x - y = -11

          4. 3b - a = -7
             5a + 6b = 14

Use linear combinations to solve these systems.Clear decimals or fractions as needed.

5. x + 3y = 7       6. x + y = 9       7. 2x + y = 6
  -x + 4y = 7          2x - y = -3          x - y  = 3

           8. x - 2y = 6
              -x +3y = -4
