Biscuit's cancer started out as a similar-sounding lump (about the size of a small decongestant gel-cap) on her neck, just under her jaw-hinge. When I found a similar lump on Ghost (the FeLV+), naturally I was really panicked. Turned out hers was a cyst, and the lump aspirated easily. They usually say if it is not attached then it is usually nothing to worry about. I would still have the vet check it. I would not over worry yourself. I had planned to start giving him Baypamun again from yesterday (Monday), after 2 weeks pause, in which he got Carbonylgruppenampullen (Glyoxal & Methylglyoxal D6). But somehow I felt it too soon to make a change again, especially since his reaction was so positive, and his appetite better. So I rang the Viennese vet (ouch, my phone bill!), to ask what she thought, and she backed me up! She is sure the improvement is due to the homeopatic remedy, (she successfully used it on FeLV+ before), and told me to carry on with it thru August, and give a second course of Baypamun in September. On alternate days he gets the Pet-Tinic, which he suffers more gracefully now, and of course he wil get Ambrotose, when it arrives, any day now, thank you, Saliha! (I eased off a bit on the VitC, after all this discussion). So please cross your fingers that Schurli, like Stinker, will be able to celebrate his 3rd birthday, (sometime in November, we guess), or am I too optimistic? We are having a heatwave, all during the day the kitties are lying flat on the cool tiles in the house, then when it gets cooler at night they go out and I have a job to coax them indoors again! Linda P. who's a list member distributes it , & in short Ambrotose prompts the immune system to produce "its own Interferon". Barb, if you're reading please jump in. You had explained it so well the other day. If you'd like more info on Ambrotose, I can dig up whateever I have on it. Saliha ---------------------------------------- From: "Equinox Corp." Would you please fill in the blanks for me re: Ambrotose. I'd appreciate it. Thanks. I've been trying to find information on it that I can share with my vet, but have been unable to find anything on the net except for a multitude of web sites trying to convince more folks to become distributors and nothing of substance about the product itself. Thanks! I did find that site. The only statement about the product there was "Ambrotose complex (patent pending) is designed to support cellular communication through a dietary supplement of monosaccharides needed for glycoconjugate synthesis" which still doesn't tell me much, especially about how it works on the immune system. I've reviewed the angelfire site. Are ambrotose and acemannan the same? I find abstracts and references for acemannan but not for ambrotose. There's a link from the angelfire site to another site (Steve's?) which has a link for ambrotose to the mannatech site, but the link doesn't work. I also noticed that a couple of the acemannan links were to the same site as the broken link for ambrotose. Melanie ---------------------------------------- END
