(good for stimulating appetite). Your vet or some pet stores probably have it. Several of my catalogs sell it , I get it from KV Vet. www.kvvet.com BTW it's brown liquid & mixed with a little canned cat food & the green powder Barley Cat & other supplements it looks really gross, but my cats thought it was delicious. Thanks Beth! I'm going to look for it.. actually, I was afraid when I started using the Barley cat... that my cats would turn up their noses... but they LOVE that too..... I wonder why the Pet-tinic doesn't have vitamin C in it..... I was feeding him on the side porch for quite a while and one day, I saw his face in the back door window. His little pink nose pressed against the glass, looking in. So I opened the door and in he came. And he stayed barb ---------------------------------------- From: Newtanator@aol.com Date sent: Sun, 2 Aug 1998 18:37:38 EDT To: felvtalk@MailingList.net Subject: Re: Vitamin C Dangers Send reply to: felvtalk@MailingList.net Mandy, didn' t know that about parrots, but we did find out that Penicillin is toxic to Rabbits! barb ---------------------------------------- Date sent: Sun, 02 Aug 1998 14:42:21 -0400 From: Kathy To: felvtalk@MailingList.net Subject: Back! Hope you are getting better fast. I am convinced a good sense of humour is the best healing power. Along with a good doctor, lots of TLC from people (and animals) who care about you, and cheesecake (or is that chocolate mousse?????) Frequently drugs, treatments, etc are available in South Africa but under a different name. Perhaps you could find out from the manufacturers if PDG is available in South Africa. And by the way, you guys, I am proud to have such specials friends. The support and caring that comes from this list warms up the room, doesnt it? It is as valuable as the medical advice. Luv you guys. Remember that we should not give medicines across the species barrier except with GREAT CARE. What is good for humans is probably not good for animals and vice versa. (This does not apply to TLC, of course!!!) For example, did you know that parsley is deadly poison for parrots? Always, always, always ... gather all the advice you can find, and then follow your own instincts. Your love for your fur angel will guide you.
