Thanks for doing all this work for the group. It will be really nice to just go and have a chat when we feel like it or when we have an emergency and e-mail is not fast enough. I also like the nice big window and the large script--it's so much easier to read than the script in the other chat rooms I've been in. Thanks, Jim! She passed all exams, so no longer can I call her the "vet-in-training"!), and asked her if she wouldn't mind to send me something I can send to the list, with the explanations for why raw liver is toxic, and what the problems would be with cooked liver for an immuno-compromised cat. I don't know when she'll be able to respond to me, but as soon as she does I'll forward her response (if she does send me something she gives me permission to forward). I have used it with one of my kitties - she's not FeLV +, but she quit eating after having what the vet now believes was a series of small strokes, and started going downhill rather rapidly. This is not a food substitute for healthy cats, but an aid to get sick kitties eating again before their own livers shut down. I didn't realize the Liver Shake came from Holisticat. There are so many crossovers with the two lists that it's nice to be able to bring things up here and there and get the different opinions. This is sure a big learning experience. -- Kathy G and the 3 furries in Daytona Beach =^.^= Rusty =^.^= Smokey =^.^= Money see us at: http://cgi.gambitsys.com/homey/webdoc5.htm The Cat: Mother Nature's Masterpiece ---------------------------------------- END
