They're dead only on this physical plane. Their spirit and memories are eternal. Send reply to: felvtalk@MailingList.net Hi all....... I have not posted anything lately as the spate of deaths seem finally to have come to a halt - I had to have the last little one put to sleep on Saturday...... It seems that I have a problem with FIP and not FeLV as I thought - even though I do not think the diagnosis my vet made was conclusive. The survivors are doing well (three out of 10) and I hope it stays that way. It is winter here in South Africa, the time for sneezing cats and snuffles......crossing my fingers......... I really hope things will be looking up for you from now on. Well, I guess that's the only way they can go - up - after the hard times you've had in the past few months! Take care of yourself. It's hard to imagine winter when the temps. have been in the 70's and 80's for the past month here. Hope the winter is easy on you and your babies. Send reply to: felvtalk@MailingList.net Nina, How awful for you. FIP is even more dreadful than FeLV. At least it is to me. I hope I never have to deal with it. I have heard they are working to try an get an definative test for it, but it is still in the works. My vet says, other than basing it on physical symptoms, there is no true way to tell, for sure, until a post is done. If you lose another, (god forbid) you may consider that, just so you will know for sure what your dealing with. Here's hoping the worst is over for you, you have been enough. barb -------------------------------------- Date sent: Tue, 26 May 1998 16:43:13 -0400 To: felvtalk@MailingList.net From: Angela Holderby Subject: Re: Scanner Send reply to: felvtalk@MailingList.net You are such a sweetie!!!!!! -------------------------------------- From: "Steve Lackow" To: "LawBet" , "James G. It's from Legend Computers in Akron, and includes both the Pentium 2 system AND the 19" monitor, same 3 year parts and lifetime labor warranty, plus 48 hr monitor replacement. It's a Pentium 2 266 system with Windows 95 SR2 with a Cybervision by Viewsonic monitor. Other details: BCM motherboard with Intel 440 EX AGP chipset, 8MB Matrox AGP video card, 32 MB SDRAM (2-16s), 4.3 GB Ultra DMA Quantum drive, 32X Toshiba CDROM, wavetable sound and speakers, keyboard, 56 K-flex modem, Microsoft Intellimouse. The cost -- about $1,500 including 2 day Fed Ex. This may be the one -- let me know. -------------------------------------- Date sent: Tue, 26 May 1998 16:16:16 -0500 (CDT) From: "Nancy A. I know the devastating loss you feel and I would do almost anything to keep you from feeling it. Try to take some comfort in knowing that Rubin was blessed on this earth to have you as his companion caretakers. He lived a long happy live with you and loved you as much as you loved him. Please know you are in my thoughts. Nancy -------------------------------------- Date sent: Tue, 26 May 1998 16:26:04 -0500 (CDT) From: "Nancy A. I too am glad she went in her sleep--it's so much easier than having to make that dreadful decision and somehow, it seems more peaceful. You were a good caretaker to her and she knew that. Perhaps the dream was her way of preparing you for your homecoming, so that her leaving would not be so much of a shock. My beautiful black cat, Panther, will help ease her loss of you at the bridge . . . with Paige and Rubin and Merlin and Arnie and Ernie and all the wonderful kitties we have lost. Please know I am thinking of you today. I don't mean to sound drastic, but I think the peeing could lead to serious things. Paige started doing the same thing. He ended up with his lungs full of fluid causing him to sufficate.
